Say, "Do not speak of this supremely secret mandala of all the Tathagatas to those who have not seen the mandala and do not have faith." Recite "Hūṃ Jaḥ Hūṃ" and summon, after reciting "Āḥ Khaṃ Bīra Hūṃ," place it inside the curtain and hold it at the east gate of the mandala. There, say, "You have entered the lineage of all the Tathagatas, and today I will generate the Vajra Wisdom for you. Having generated the wisdom, you will also attain the accomplishments of all the Tathagatas, what need is there to mention other accomplishments? If you speak before those who have not seen the mandala, you will break your vows and no results will arise." Hold the vajra on the head and ring the bell. "This is your vow vajra. If you speak of this to anyone, your head will split open." Having made this known, hold the vajra at the heart. "Oṃ Vajrasattva, today you have truly entered your heart. If you speak of this principle, you will immediately split apart and die." Give blessings in this way. Take the water from the top of the victory vase and give it to him. "This is your water of hell. If you break your vows, you will be burned. If you keep your vows, you will attain accomplishments through this water of Vajra nectar." Recite this and have him drink the oath water. From today onwards, I am your Vajrapāṇi, and you must do whatever I command you. If you despise me, you will die without abandoning great fear, and after death you will fall into hell. This is the giving of the vow water. Then, the disciple who possesses all the characteristics and has attained a superior position, in an instant ༄. Empty, and from Āḥ generate immeasurable light, and pray that all the Tathagatas bless him. "Vajrasattva, descend upon me." Have him recite this. In his heart, from Laṃ generate a yellow square earth mandala, marked with vajras, upon which is the sun and a black Sa Hūṃ. On the crown of the head, from Hūṃ Vaṃ generate a white round water mandala, marked with vases, upon which is the moon and a white Hūṃ. At the throat, from Yaṃ generate a black bow-shaped wind mandala, with banners, upon which is the moon and a red Āḥ.

Direct your attention to those. Underneath the feet, fanned by the wind mandala, from Raṃ (藏文：རཾ，梵文天城体：रं，梵文罗马拟音：raṃ，汉语字面意思：Let it burn) arises a red triangular fire mandala, dwelling in radiating light. Visualize the red ཛྷཻཾ (藏文：ཛྷཻཾ，梵文天城体：，梵文罗马拟音：，汉语字面意思：) causing the disciple to ascend, while incense is burned and a bell is rung. Recite the mantra "Ābeśaya stvaṃ bhaya rara rara rara, calaya calaya, Hūṃ ha ཛྷཻ Āḥ (藏文：ཧཱུཾ་ཧ་ཛྷཻ་ཨཱཿ，梵文天城体：，梵文罗马拟音：，汉语字面意思：)" and, with meditation, cause it to descend. At the time of descent, visualize a red Ā (藏文：ཨཱ，梵文天城体：आ，梵文罗马拟音：ā，汉语字面意思：A) from their tongue. Say, "Speak, Vajra son, you!" By saying this, they will definitely speak of good and non-good. Afterward, gather the descending deity from their own seed syllable, holding the vajra on the disciple's head, and with "Hūṃ ha Ā ཛྷཻ Muḥ (藏文：ཧཱུཾ་ཧ་ཨཱ་ཛྷཻཾ་མུཿ，梵文天城体：，梵文罗马拟音：，汉语字面意思：)" request their departure. This is the ritual of descent. The Ritual of Entering the Mandala with a Blindfold Oṃ. Then, have the disciple face the mandala and ask what they see before their eyes. Based on the differences in the colors they describe, understand the differences in accomplishments and bestow the blessing of truth: In this very mandala, I shall introduce the disciple. The families of the deities are arranged in order. According to how this one's accomplishment is, wherever their own family is, they will obtain merit accordingly. Just as they have accumulated merit, so shall they emerge from this mandala. This is the ritual of entering the mandala with a blindfold. The Ritual of Throwing Flowers and Removing the Blindfold Oṃ. Then, recite "Pratīccha Vajra Hoḥ (藏文：པྲ་ཏཱིཙྪ་བཛྲ་ཧོཿ，梵文天城体：，梵文罗马拟音：，汉语字面意思：Accept, Vajra, Hoḥ)" over the previous flower garland and throw it into the mandala. By the place where the flower lands within the five lines, one should understand their family. If it falls on the brow, head, or crown of the main deity, one obtains the great seal accomplishment; if it falls on the eyes, mouth, or other upper body parts, one obtains the supreme accomplishment; if it falls on the waist, one obtains the intermediate accomplishment; if it falls on the lower body, one obtains the lowest accomplishment. One should understand it in such ways. This is the order of throwing flowers. Then, visualize two Oṃs (藏文：ཨོཾ，梵文天城体：ओं，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ，汉语字面意思：Oṃ) in the two eyes. Say, "Today, you, by Vajrasattva, strive to open your eyes. The vajra eye is unsurpassed. May your eyes be opened." After saying this, remove the blindfold. Then, say, "Vajra, look at the mandala!"
