The mudra is also that of Vajrasattva himself. Joining the vajra palms and bending the two index fingers, placing the two thumbs in between, this is the mudra of all the crown buddhas and Vairochana Buddha and his retinue. The mudra called "separating upwards" is that, having placed the vajra palms together, the fingers themselves are separated upwards, bending the two index fingers and placing the two thumbs like thumbs, this is the mudra of Heruka and his goddesses. "Making confused" means causing to faint. Having joined the vajra palms equally, making the two middle fingers equal and opening the thumbs and little fingers, this is the lotus king and his retinue. "Bending the index fingers equally outwards" means making the two index fingers equal and bending them from the outside. "The thumb covering the vajra" means making the two thumbs into vajras and joining their two tips and then binding them, this is the mudra of Vajramātṛ and her retinue. "Joining the little finger and ring finger equally" means extending the little finger together with the ring finger, this is the mudra of the four feet. "Bending the tips of the index fingers equally" means joining the two index fingers equally and bending them outwards like a neck. Because holding one's own attributes such as the vajra bell and the mudra goes first, one should bind the great mudra, in order to show that one knows the great samaya mudra. Therefore, it is said that the body and pure mind, etc., are the vajra of body, speech, and mind, because they are connected with the deities of those. "The union of all arising" means in the manner of all arising. "I am the deity" means that one has become the supreme deity, and in the same way, after the order of inviting the great bodhisattva, etc., from blessing and empowerment, etc., is completed, one should meditate, etc., with the pride of that. In order to show that the one who has the nature of union, subsequent union, and complete union knows the yoga mudra, Vajrasattva, etc., are spoken of. The all-pervading union of glorious Vajrasattva is the union of all arising, by which one visualizes.

The body, speech, and mind, possessing form and appearance, and endowed with the mudra of Vajrasattva, is the union of becoming one's own deity. The nature of all is Vajrasattva. All to me is to one's own body. What is to be entered is the subsequent union. 'Without attachment,' etc., means how I am endowed with extreme union. That will be declared thus: as said, combining in sequence, and perfecting the subsequent union, through attachment and non-attachment, etc., meditating on emptiness, one should meditate on self-nature together with the goddesses. Similarly, the yogi of Vairochana should also meditate on Suchness through 'neither existent nor non-existent,' etc. Similarly, the yogi of Vajra Sun should meditate on Suchness through 'all is the nature of space,' etc. Similarly, the yogi of Padma Dance Lord should meditate on Suchness through 'how is this excellent lotus,' etc. Similarly, the yogi of Vajra Sun should meditate on Suchness through 'extremely fierce and violent,' etc. Similarly, the yogi of Supreme Horse should meditate on Suchness through 'with faith in all purity,' etc. In order to show all the yogis who possess union, etc., how many unions

Thus it is said, the goddesses are the best of bliss, and so on. Great bliss is that which has become united with it. That which arises from it is the transformation of the beautiful face, by which Vajrasattva is reduced to ashes, and combined with the word "to make alive." The goddesses themselves, having experienced the bliss of union, dance with beauty in their union, and whatever raises their eyes, and the transformation of the face, is called that. In order to show the facial mudras of the best of bliss and so on, "wise woman" and so on are spoken. A wise woman is one who is skilled in the art of transformation. The great transformation of these is that they transform with the beauty of the transformation of the beautiful face. The best of adornment and charm is that which dances with beauty in its appearance and has the radiance of the face, as before. By "Buddha Bodhi" and so on, the facial mudra of the Blessed One Vairochana and his retinue is shown. The Bodhi of the Buddha is the Buddha Samantabhadri and so on. Union with it is equal union. Whatever rejoices greatly from it and sees and points from them is called that.
