Yoga, the great bliss of self-mastery. That which initially unites equally with all Buddhas is the connection of the wisdom of the sphere of reality, as stated in the ninth chapter: All are of the nature of the sky, but the sky also has no nature. All three realms, without exception, are like illusions. Like all illusions, they are neither seen nor touched. They are not objects of attachment, and so is the nature of all beings. It also says: Not existent, not non-existent, and in the Middle Way there is nothing to grasp. The union of the perfection of wisdom perfectly accomplishes the enlightenment of the Buddhas. So it is. These meanings are the characteristics of sacred yoga, endowed with the qualities of perfect self-mastery, and are the nature of great bliss. This is also to be realized through the door of skillful means, the door of wisdom, and the door of non-duality. The seventh contemplation says: Great bliss through the door of skillful means, beyond the realm of subtle bindus, not abiding in the realm of winds, the secret mantra is free from conceptualization, by the power of relying on the action of wisdom, subduing the wheel of nirvana and attaining enlightenment, either in one's own place or elsewhere, the inferior roots and so on are beyond form, in the state of non-dual great seal, appearance itself is emptiness, emptiness itself is appearance, enjoying the objects of the six senses. So it is said. Its reasoning is: Therefore, by the very nature of bliss, all the bliss of the Buddhas is attained. That is, through the door of the bliss of the cause, the path is cultivated as bliss, and the body of the great bliss of the result is accomplished. The seventh contemplation also says: All phenomena are manifestly great bliss, without superior, middling, or inferior images, sealed with the seal of appearance, emptiness, and bliss, completely liberated from all objects of attachment. That is, manifestly sealing all phenomena with the seal of non-duality of bliss and emptiness. This also shows the qualities of realization. Now it is shown that there is no need to practice the hardships of the body, because all Buddhas are equally united, yoga self-mastery is great bliss. Here there is no need for bathing and restraint, no need for asceticism and hardship. Brahmins and Hearers, etc., bound by their own thoughts, their practices of bathing and dietary restrictions, and the asceticism of the twelve branches of discipline and purification, and the five fires

For example, relying on (non-Buddhist) asceticism, the three-pronged staff, the asceticism of a child, the asceticism of a cow, and so on. The conduct of a Bodhisattva does not require practicing unbearable asceticism in various ways; if one abides in the meaning of non-duality, then all actions will perfect the two accumulations. Therefore, there is no ascetic discipline, and accomplishment is achieved through ease and joy. Therefore, act as you wish, eat everything, and likewise enjoy everything; act as you please, and all actions are as you please. For whomsoever, the order of conduct in the lower tantras should be especially diligent, without prohibition. Brahmins and non-Buddhists, etc., achieve through any solitary conduct, through the means of mental ease and bodily joy. Therefore, even without purifying sins, if one cultivates the meaning of equality, it will be accomplished, as stated below. Likewise, in the Seventh Chapter, it is said: "For whomever, no matter how they act, non-dual great bliss will become a companion." This should also be understood from the perspective of the individual's initial karma, having some confidence in wisdom, being completely free, and being completely liberated. If, as desired, it becomes for the benefit of sentient beings, without fault, even if one engages in evil deeds, there will be no mistake. Eating everything, that is, the pure state of the ten samaya foods, because it possesses the meaning of non-duality, and enjoying it, will become a limb for accomplishing siddhis. Likewise, everything refers to the collection of common and special samayas, without omission. Likewise, enjoying whatever is pleasing through the doors of body and speech, and agitating whatever is pleasing through the door of mind, without prohibition or establishment. Therefore, it will prohibit the boundaries of inferior vehicles and ordinary beings. In the Glorious Guhyasamaja it is also said: "The mantra practitioner walks like a lion; here there is nothing that should not be done, nor is there anything that should not be eaten; adorned with the enjoyment of all desires." Thus, all dharmas abide in the nature of great bliss; however, some unenlightened beings, due to the influence of confusion, apply the causes and effects of the three sufferings and eight sufferings to themselves. Likewise, in the Seventh Chapter it is said: "Not recognizing one's own nature, beings confused with others, examining their own continuum with the six objects, appear as various dualistic dharmas."
