If asked, how is it known, and by what means is it known at that time? Because this phrase "how is it known" does not conform to the actual situation, the previous statements should not be refuted. No, because that suchness of "other complete understanding" is naturally and completely understood in all times, is this admitted? If it is completely understood in other ways, then how would it become a fault of completely understanding its own nature? If it were like that, how would it even exist? Therefore, if its true nature is not understood, it becomes the essence of existence. All these phenomena of existence arise in a false manner, like being made by hand with a film of karma. So, from what do these phenomena arise? They arise from the power of the ripening of previous karma. Of course, it can be admitted like that, but as long as one follows samsara, one will follow afflictions. Therefore, just as in a mirage, things are perceived as water, here, there is no contradiction in suchness appearing as the essence of existence. Therefore, if it has become samsara, then just as from not understanding the nature of mirages etc., a perception of a false essence arises, what is the understanding of suchness like? As long as suchness is fully revealed, it is called nirvana, of course, it can be admitted like that. Otherwise, I too would attain nirvana to some extent. Therefore, even without fully understanding its true nature, merely through self-awareness, one will truly attain all the levels of nirvana. Just as a person who has just come from the island of Rika, even if he does not know that the nature of fire is to burn, will he not dispel the cold if he properly touches and experiences it? If he touches it further properly, will he not be burned? Similarly, if one perceives something like an ornament but does not know it is poison, will he not salivate, faint, and so on if he eats it? Therefore, the nature of suchness, he does not understand its true nature.

If someone asks, saying that because of knowing there is samsara, and others are due to understanding the nature, this is not reasonable. It is not like that, even if one fully knows the wisdom of suchness as it is, it will still arise due to their respective needs. If the word of a name, when others are fully manifested, does not that other itself fully manifest, is it not produced for that need? If so, is it not that at that time, because everyone has the awareness of suchness, there is no need to cut off existence, and it will become like that? No, just experiencing suchness, saying that the nature of the thing of existence is non-existence, will become nirvana, it is not like that. Because just that is not what connects to nirvana. Knowing suchness will not become nirvana. At what time, what by what will it become? It is from the very awareness in that suchness. If you ask, in that case, will there also be no existence at all at that time? No, because it has not been truly recognized as suchness. When one realizes suchness, at the time of realizing that suchness, it is said to be established as nirvana, but the sentient beings who have entered the ocean of existence, because they have not truly understood its nature, so everything has not become nirvana. Because in the non-dual thing itself, followed by two, so is it not dwelling in the false consciousness? Therefore, how can it be said to exist for sentient beings who have not fully understood the nature of suchness? Then, what kind of need can be obtained from suchness that has not been realized from nirvana? If knowing that does not produce nirvana, then will it be established that that need arises from something else? No, because apart from that, there is also another existence, and the nature of common needs, called the self-aware nature, called the wisdom self-awareness of all, the common need itself, is the difference of knowing the differences of various forms such as blue and yellow. Therefore, the wisdom self-awareness of suchness exists in various forms such as things and non-things. Its special need.

Therefore, there is no doubt that one can especially realize the nature of the meaning of the name Nirvana. So, if the nature of Nirvana is not self-cognizant, then what? If it is said that because of the need for the nature of self-cognizance, this is specifically described separately, then even a few times out of a hundred, Nirvana will not become the entity of enlightenment, because it does not have the nature of self-cognizance. In what other function other than self-cognizance can it be recognized? What is the reason for this? Therefore, vases and so on also do not have self-cognizance, because they are merely material and do not have a clear arising. Is Nirvana also like this? It is not so, because due to the causes of the eye, ear, attention, and objects, the consciousness of the appearance of the vase arises correctly, and then from cognition, the vase is cognized and known. Although it is said that way, because it is itself material, there is no clarity of other functioning things, is Nirvana also like this? It is not so, because that is the wisdom of
