If asked, is it the act of the Buddha? To this, it should be said: Although it is not the understanding of all supreme meanings, it is to guide sentient beings with such causes, and thus performs the conduct of revealing suchness. Those supreme ones of such vows, appearing together with their own nature, are extremely reliable. Such a vow itself is the intention realized by the Bhagavan, from which the mantra arises from the crown of the head. Therefore, with phrases such as "merely seeing from there," the mantra is taught, such as "Om Buddhe, Siddhe." The power of the mantra itself manifests in an instant. Such phrases as "the excellence of the mantra has passed" mean that just by appearing in that way, the excellence of the mantra itself turns all the nagas dwelling in the seven levels beneath the earth into powder, and then returns. Entering from the mouth of the mandala with patterns of the Bhagavan, it arises from within the lotus, and then enters again into the crown of the head of the Bhagavan himself. Such a sequence should also be observed by the yogi when reciting the mantra, that is, entering from oneself and reciting the mantra that will arise from the vajra path. Or, it is like this: In any case, how can anyone truly realize this mantra, "entering from the mouth of the mandala with patterns and arising from the lotus"? And "entering the mouth and necessarily entering the ear," etc., because the existence of that mantra is the nature of sound, and the existence of that sound is to be heard by the ear, wherever it enters, if the ear is clear, then all natures held by other senses will completely enter the mouth. At that time, if I completely enter the mouth, then if the ear is clear, the difference between the objects held by other senses will disappear, because the mantra that should be heard by the ear will become an object held by the sense of taste. If that is the case, then blue and so on should also abide in the state of being heard by the ear. If that is the case, then the collection of differences between the senses will become meaningless, because one sense can realize all things.

English

If one does not understand in this way, then understanding in that way is not it; if all reasons are understood by the ear, then it becomes too extreme. Therefore, after understanding with the ear, later entering the mouth and arising in the lotus, etc., these refutations are unnecessary, and these statements are not good. When the self-nature of that mantra of existence becomes the object of the ear, if it is thought that the mantra itself is the most supreme understanding, then how can one understand by entering into the particular, etc.? At that time, it cannot be understood, because it is only manifest to the ear. When entering the mouth, etc., because it is not something that can be grasped by the ear, how can one understand it as it is? Then again, even if it is not something that can be grasped by the ear, it is the mind that self-knows the self-nature of the mantra, because there is nothing that is not the object of the mind. If one says this, it is also not established, because the mind correctly knows the self-nature of happiness and suffering, etc. If these mantras are to be grasped by the sense of the ear, then how can the mind understand them? If the mind can understand them, then blue, etc., should also be grasped by other senses, and that would become something that can be grasped by the ear. If that were the case, then the deaf, etc., could also hold sounds, etc., because they also have mind. If that were the case, then the deaf and blind, etc., would not be able to exist. If that were the case, then in any case, the mantras would not be fully understood and comprehended by the ear, because they are grasped by the mind. Or, it is impossible for one object of a realm to be held by two senses, because blue, etc., should also become something that can be grasped by the ear. Even if that were the case, there would be no fault, because it is not contradictory in some cases for two senses to hold one object of a realm, such as the sense of the eye holding the object of fire, and the touch of the body. Even so, it is not pleasing to the mind, because here, the minute particles of the burning of fire are different from the minute particles that can be seen.

It also remains other, it abides in that way. Such a fire object, here it should be viewed, and those that should be touched, are used together, and viewing the meaning of the object as summarized into one is only confusion, if said so. Then, it should be said here that it is precisely through this consciousness of mind that mantras are realized.
