If asked, then what is the difference of this mind like? Is it like the difference of the gods, is it the nature of this mind? Or is it produced from other causes? If this mind is self-nature, then the self-nature of mind is form, at that time everything also appears with difference by self-nature. The self-nature of mind is like that, there is no difference, because all sentient beings are the same. Then, if there is a difference produced from cause, then there is no difference, because others also have the function of cause and condition. Even if there is a cause, but the nature of the difference of the cause is not realized by all sentient beings, so the mind of all sentient beings is not established as different. Then, the cause exists in everything, but there is no realization of the combination of producing one's own wisdom, which will not happen to any sentient being. If that happens, then what is it? What cause makes it different, what makes it realize? What is the difference of observation that is thoroughly realized, and it is said that the mind is established as different? Like oneself realizing oneself, it is not there, if there is, then others will also thoroughly realize. Others are not from oral transmission, nor from other transmissions, what is that like? There is no self-realization, if there is, then the fault has been said. If one realizes from transmission and transmission, then there will be endless faults. Therefore, how did the Bhagavan establish the mind as superior? If other causes make the mind different, then the mind is like that, it will not be stable in everything, just like the vase etc. produced from cause, it will not become a stable nature. Therefore, the mind is not a stable difference, because it is temporary. Therefore, if it is said that the necessity of the mind being thoroughly established as different is not established at any time, then what is to be said about this is that this different mind is also self-nature.

Yes, similarly, this other cause is also without any harm, because the cause is merely a condition for making it manifest. Similarly, the very nature of things is the mind that dwells appearing everywhere, but because it is covered by the defilements of its own habitual tendencies, it appears as such, therefore not all objects of the mind of all are fully manifest. For example, for a being with cataracts, even if the mirror is very clear, it becomes as if covered. Therefore, since the cause is also such a thing, it is not the one that removes the faults of obscuration, it is not born as a special nature. The specialty of that cause is only the characteristic of removing the faults of sudden defilements, and that is not understood by all. For example, even if it exists, it is not seen, just as the things in a deep well are not seen and understood by all. Such a cause, even if understood through the lineage of the lama, does not give rise to the fault of being endless, because endless things are not harmed by such faults, because samsara is without beginning. Because of that, if it is not so, everything will not be accomplished, then how will this sprout of white mustard grow? If it is said to grow from its own seed, then what is its seed? It is said to grow from its own seed. Then, how is it that everything becomes endless? It is so. Then, from where does that habitual tendency arise? What kind of ༄། །If the mind of existence is of a nature that is clear in all things, then what completely obscures it, so that the mind dwelling in ordinary beings is not like the things of the gods? At what time, if the mind is born from a separate cause other than the earth, then at that time, it must have another cause other than the mind, therefore the nature of reality cannot be non-dual. Therefore, even if the habitual tendencies themselves are born from the mind itself, then at that time, the habitual tendencies will not be clear at any time.

It is because the mind exists at all times. If it is said that the unborn and uncreated, that is, those with the ability to act, exist, but actions do not arise, then all actions and results will not arise. Therefore, either habits arise at all times, or they do not arise from the beginning. If habits never arise, then they do not arise at all times, then how can the mind be stained by defilements, because there is no cause for carelessness, therefore, the so-called differentiated mind and undifferentiated mind do not exist, then how can the distinction between Nirvana and Samsara, and the states of liberation and non-liberation of the mind, be established? Furthermore, if habits are fluid at all times, then the distinction between ordinary beings and differences other than this cannot be established, then the states and establishments of bondage and liberation will no longer exist. In any case, habits arise from wisdom itself, but still cling to Samsara, so just from its arising, there will be no fault of existing or not existing at all times. As long as the mind that follows Samsara exists, it will continue to arise. Such a mind should be understood as existing in the essence of Samsara, because it completely eliminates the inverted essence, therefore it is the nature of habits. Therefore, from all aspects, the fault of common consciousness does not exist. The minds of all beings cling to Samsara, therefore as long as it does not exist at all times, the systems of Samsara and Nirvana still exist. Even if you don't want to, you must admit it. Otherwise, either only Nirvana exists at all times, or only existence exists. Therefore, Samsara is always present in existence, and this is also the nature of the mind with the nature of habits. Therefore, the consciousness with the nature of habits is the nature that is in accordance with Samsara.
