The "string of letters" refers to the three kinds of strings of vowels and consonants, and "to wrap with it" refers to the remainder. The one in the middle is the hero, the glorious Heruka, and that union is the Buddha Dakini. "What" refers to what is blessed by the hero, the place where the sun and moon are united, adorned with the three strings of vowels and consonants. "Just thinking" means just reciting, and how to recite will be explained in the second chapter. "Cause and non-cause" refers to the outer three realms. "Accomplishment" means to be able to control.
