Oṃ. Therefore, the yogi with intelligence should strive and diligently work to purify the mind. Body, speech, and mind are shown as the main, indicating that there is nothing other than oneself, and revealing the meaning. If a yogi wishes to recite, they should abandon the thoughts of the heart. This means that when a yogi abandons the mind, there is nothing else to recite, which is the final conclusion. Because the actions of body and speech are the form itself. Why? Because the seed is in the external cause. Only that is the mantra that acts from form and so on, and it is also seen as ultimate, because it is a letter, because it arises dependently. For example, in saying the words "So-and-so, peace make," when only saying "So-and-so," the sound of "peace make" does not arise. If one says "peace make," it will exceed "So-and-so." Similarly, when only saying "So," "-and-so" will not arise. When only saying "-and-so," "So" is exceeded. Likewise, when only saying those two, there is no "-so." When only saying "-so," "So-and-so" is exceeded. Therefore, the mantra that has been acted upon is only a speculation of what arises dependently, and it is not ultimate. Having thus shown the nature of the mantra, the method of reciting the mantra is taught, saying: Forms and other enjoyments of existence, one should recite and combine with the seed. This means that through the letter Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ།,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), one should visualize forms and so on as the true conventional truth, and then recite, and through that accumulation of merit, one should transform this life's existence into the fruit of enjoyment. What is the mantra to be recited? It is said: That which is revered by all beings. And so on. Among them, that which is revered by all is the nature of Vairocana, which is the moon and bindu, because it is the completely pure Dharmadhatu itself, the wisdom itself. Similarly, abiding on the crown of the head, means that the moon and bindu should always be placed on top of the head of the letter Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ།,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽). Always with the root as the tip, this means that the footstool is always below. Only showing those two meanings, that is, with the bindu full of flavor. What is such a seed? It is said: The seed of wisdom and consciousness itself. This means the letter Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ།,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽). Even if one recites the mantra for the sake of the enjoyment of samsara, one should recite only with the mind, without sound or words.

Thus it is taught. After abandoning the enjoyment of cyclic existence, one should engage in mental recitation. Thus it is said. That is, wanting to show the eight signs, spoken by the Bhagavan, unmoving, constantly abiding in means. And so on, wherein unmoving is because it is indestructible. Constant means because it is uninterrupted. Abiding in means means that the two abide in the nature of means. Constant means the very cause of the Tathagata. The very nature of the Dharma realm means the cause of the Dharma of the noble ones. Constantly subtle means that even after five moments, it transcends the senses. Undefiled means without afflictions, because it is naturally luminous. What kind of mind possesses such qualities? Wisdom merges into consciousness. That is, because means and wisdom are non-dual. That mind sees the path to enlightenment, as it is said. Wisdom objects by consciousness, the stages of enlightenment will be seen. Thus it is. The eight signs of the transformed signs of the path to enlightenment are taught. Like a lamp in all places. And so on. Among them, like a lamp in all places, the first sign is seen. It is said that the yogi, in the first wisdom, burns like the lamp of wisdom that burns afflictions without inversion, because it is small. It appears like the fire of a firefly. The second sign is examined. It is said that in the second wisdom, it burns like a firefly, because it is medium. White dust, another spark. It is said that with the third wisdom, the yogi sees the fire of wisdom radiating white in all directions. Because it is great. As soon as it is seen, the obscurations of afflictions are purified, and one becomes a noble one, realizing the path of seeing. Then the signs of abandoning the obscurations of knowledge are taught. The enjoyments of the desire gods, in the fourth, are seen by the mind. It is said that the yogi, with the fourth wisdom, is separated from the five desires of the desire realm, in nine ways, large, medium, and small, a summary. Also the gods of the higher form realm
