Manifesting white ashes. That is its meaning. Also, the mantra recited by the yogi who meditates in this way says: "The seed of wisdom and consciousness is constantly recited by the yogi." That is to say, among them, "wisdom seed consciousness" refers to the letter Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,हुं,hūṃ,吽). That is Oṃ Hūṃ Svāhā. Even if there is no Oṃ Svāhā, it should be understood in meaning, because all mantras mostly possess the Vajra-holder. Because it is said so. Walking, standing, and sitting, etc., have already been explained. "The arising of wisdom is the union of," refers to the indication of the name that shows the wisdom of those samādhis. Because it is desired to show the arising that unites with the mind, it is encouraged by "the characteristic of obtaining Vajrasattva is," etc. Among them, "arising" refers to one's own consciousness arising towards the higher realm of skillful means. "The characteristic of union" refers to the characteristic of the union of such samādhi that will appear below. Then Vajrapāṇi asked: "How do the nine gates and so on abide? I respectfully prostrate to the Lord of Wisdom." and so on. Among them, the Lord of Wisdom is Vajrasattva, because he is the lord of the eight consciousnesses. Again, it is answered: "The measure of the time of death is," and so on. Among them, "the time of death" refers to, in the second chapter of my seat, the cessation of breath and so on, those are the measure of the time of death. Like that, showing the merits and faults of the differences of the gates at the time of death. "The good path is a beautiful place, the bad path is the fault of saṃsāra." That is to say, among them, the good path refers to the six gates. The beautiful place refers to the heavens. The bad path refers to the three gates. The fault of saṃsāra refers to the three lower realms. What are the good six gates and the bad three gates? It is said: "Bindu, navel, crown of the head," and so on. Then, when showing the faults of the gates and union, first show the merits. "The navel is the heaven of the desirous ones," refers to the meaning that when wisdom arises from the navel of the yogi, it is reborn in the six places such as the Four Great Kings of the desire realm. "The bodies of the three bindus are,"

From the drop of the forehead, wisdom radiates, and one is reborn as the seventeen forms of gods, such as Brahma, in the realm of form. This is the concluding statement. The place above the above is where beings are fully observed. That is to say, the above is the crown of the head. The place above is the formless realm, because it has become the higher existence. The meaning is this: When a yogi radiates consciousness from the crown of the head, he observes that he is reborn into the four categories of the formless realm, such as infinite space. This is the concluding statement. The nose is the abode of yakshas, meaning that when wisdom radiates from the nose, one is reborn as yakshas with evil eyes, etc., on the summit of Mount Sumeru. This is the concluding statement. Both ears are gods of accomplishment. That is to say, there are eight gods of accomplishment: the god of sword accomplishment, the god of eye medicine accomplishment, the god of pill accomplishment, the god of underground accomplishment, the god of invisibility accomplishment, the god of instantaneous arrival accomplishment, the god of flying in the sky accomplishment, and the god of universally seeing accomplishment. The meaning is this: When consciousness radiates from the ears, one is reborn as those gods. If wisdom radiates from the eyes, one becomes the king of men. That is to say, when wisdom radiates from the eyes, one is reborn as a wheel-turning king, etc. Then, after explaining the merits of the doors, the faults are explained. By the door of existence, hungry ghosts, etc. That is to say, the door of existence is the mouth. Why? Because the food that sustains the five aggregates of existence is put in from there, it is called the door of existence. The meaning is this: When wisdom radiates, one is reborn as a hungry ghost. Similarly, by water, one is reborn as an animal. That is to say, here water refers to the male and female genitals, because they are the channels of water. When light radiates from the door of the water channel, one is reborn as an animal. The objects of the eight hells, non-water consciousness quickly transforms. That is to say, here non-water refers to the channel of feces, because filth is produced. Radiating from the door of non-water, one is reborn in the eight hells, such as revival. Thus, in order to combine merits and faults, the yogi dies
