Because it needs to be understood, it is understanding. Because it is excellent, it is supreme. Because it is like a lion, it is a lion, which needs to be proven. The so-called "after the disciples know" means that after the disciples have faith and understanding in the profound ultimate nature, they will pass it on to the king. In addition, what kind of disciple is this? "Because of having yoga, in order to tear the veil of covering," it is said that having yoga means liking yoga. For what purpose? In order to tear the veil of covering, that is, to cut off ignorance. So, what kind of content should be taught to the king? It says "the fault of existence" and so on. Existence is the five aggregates. Because it is suffering, it is a fault. "Arising" refers to the basis for the arising of suffering, that is, afflictions such as greed. "After cutting off" means after abandoning. What do you do after cutting it off? It says, "Achieving ultimate yoga," ultimate yoga is the accomplishment of Mahamudra, which needs to be accomplished. The so-called "king" is non-dual wisdom, and how the guru teaches it will not change and manifest, so it is the king. "Ani" and so on are easy to understand. "Having the five ambrosias" and so on, is giving the five ambrosias. "At the feet of the guru" and so on, is prostration. "Having the Vajra Mudra" and so on, is wearing armor on the body, and the meaning of the words is easy to understand. In addition, etc., is a prophecy. The so-called "complete Bodhi" is the great Bodhi. The so-called "all dharmas" refers to the supreme and main of all. After that, etc. are easy to understand. In order to explain that teachings are also given after empowerment, it says "all dharmas" and so on. "All dharmas are pure in nature" means that because they are far away from the nature of what can be taken, etc., they are attached to the completely pure nature. So what will happen? It says "the nature of things" and so on, showing attachment to emptiness.

Therefore. For the sake of eliminating that. In the absence of the nature of things. The stages of complete enlightenment are explained. As it is said. In that, enlightenment is the realization of suchness. Absence of self-nature is the absence of inherent existence. In ultimate truth, the one who realizes, what is to be realized, and the realization, the three are not found. Since that is not found, to whom is what shown? It is shown that there is nothing to show. This shows that by abiding in the wisdom of selflessness, one turns away from non-virtue and engages in virtue. That is what is said, "Before," and so on. Dharma is all virtues. "Before" means going first, that is, the root. What is it? It is said to be patience. That is, do not torment sentient beings. This is what it shows. Otherwise, one should not be patient with one's own afflictions. Not speaking harsh words means that harsh words are those that cause anger by revealing the faults of others. Speaking those words makes everyone unhappy and causes suffering, so it should be avoided. Otherwise, revealing one's own faults and misdeeds is not included. The precepts are explained, "Precepts," and so on, which are easy to understand. Otherwise, the view of self, such as clinging to sentient beings, should be killed. Abstaining from taking what is not given is explained, "Like a blazing fire," and so on. Here again, otherwise, one should not take the substance of bodhicitta that arises from the lotus of wisdom without being given.
