It should also be observed. In order to show the ethics of turning away from the sins of the nature of vows, (the text says) "One should not prioritize sentient beings," etc.

Those depend on that. If there are no demons, how can they harm? If you think like that, it is (being) bound by your own mind. It is said, "Bound." At that time, because of the experience, it should be established that everything is one's own mind, because the external environment will be harmed by reason, and fundamentally it is not allowed, and this (thought) should arise from the heart. So, what will happen then? It is said, "Bound," just as demons and so on are transformed by the mind and experienced, being bound by nets and so on, and expelling enemies, can also be well experienced and accomplished. To show that, it is said, "If one's own mind is tamed, how can demons harm?" The so-called taming the mind is to know one's own nature. Knowing one's own nature will tame afflictions. If one is free from the ropes of afflictions, other demons will also retreat, because those are its roots. These show that if one knows one's own nature, just as there are no nets and so on, there are no demons either. Just as one experiences the existence of demons, because there are nets and so on, protection is perfectly complete and abides. It has also been said, "Just as water is poured into water, becoming the same taste, the mind itself is the source of faults and merits, where will there be incompatible antidotes?" Now, in order to show the purity of smearing the square mandala with incense in the place of meditation, it is said, "Equanimity" and so on. The so-called equanimity mind is the mind of the three realms,

With completely pure patience, the yogi scatters flowers. The complete purity of incense is proclaimed, in what is called equality and so on. "Completely pure, self-nature pure" is called svabhāvaśuddhaḥ sarvadharmāḥ svabhāvaśuddho'haṃ (Tibetan: སྭ་བྷཱ་ཝ་ཤུདྡྷཿ་སརྦ་དྷརྨཱཿ་,Devanagari: स्वभावशुद्धः सर्वधर्माः,Romanized Sanskrit: svabhāvaśuddhaḥ sarvadharmāḥ,Literal meaning: self-nature pure, all dharmas are self-nature pure), thereby fumigating with the completely pure incense in equality. The complete purity of the lamp is proclaimed, in what is called wisdom and so on. "Wisdom lamp" means that wisdom is a completely pure lamp. If it is said that there is still something left to light, then, what is called "the three realms" and so on, means that after destroying the darkness of the three realms with the lamp of wisdom, the path of suchness is clearly revealed as desired, and it is thought that it should be combined with that complete purity. These indicate that when starting meditation, these complete purities should be used to purify beforehand. I have already explained it clearly in the sādhana. In order to show the concise summary of the points, it is said "with the mind" and so on, meaning that all sentient beings should be placed in happiness with the fearlessness giving and so on, and at the time of offering and the time of torma, those complete purities should be fully combined. The perfection of the meditation place is proclaimed, what is called "pleasant" and so on is easy to understand. These show the common actions of all meditations. Now, in order to generate the nature of non-dual yoga, the coemergent wisdom, the union of means and wisdom is proclaimed. In what is called "my own self" and so on, "I" refers to the practitioner's own body. What is called "after generating the vajra" means that Vajrasattva arising from the vajra should be generated. After abiding in the place previously indicated, with the vajra mudra bound at the heart, after reciting the three purities, meditate on emptiness. In the city on the summit of Mount Meru, on the lion and moon seat, one should visualize oneself as the vajra arising from the syllable hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ,Devanagari: हुं,Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ,Literal meaning: hūṃ). Transform into a wisdom bell. What is called "transform into a bell" means that wisdom is a girl. What is called "transform into a bell" means that one should contemplate the bell arising from the syllable a (Tibetan: ཨ,Devanagari: अ,Romanized Sanskrit: a,Literal meaning: a) as the wisdom pāramitā. In between, one cubit long.

After establishing, the term "between" refers to the interval between oneself and wisdom. One should practice contemplating a distance of about one cubit in front of oneself as the interval. The term "abiding by equal view" refers to oneself and wisdom directly abiding with each other, facing each other. To explain it in detail, it is said, "Meditate on Hūṃ in the heart." The term "Meditate on Hūṃ in the heart" means that after making offerings and taking the Three Refuges, one meditates on the letter Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) on the moon disc in the heart. Then what should be done? It is said, "All are empty by awareness," which means that by the touch of the flame light of Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ), one contemplates all the three realms without exception as emptiness. To show it, it is said, "Three realms," which is easy to understand. The term "as before" refers to recalling the way the aggregates and so on were previously shown to be emptiness. To show the palace, it is said, "Equality," etc., and the term "palace," etc.
