Then, how would it be without its Dharma? Therefore, one is liberated from the absence of things. Sever all that is pure and impure. The term "severing purity and impurity" means that purity is the absence of all afflictions, and impurity is the presence of all afflictions. Severing means being far removed from them. Thus, naturally pure is the non-dual wisdom, because all afflictions are temporary. So, does the so-called non-duality refer to a nature that is free from duality? Or is there one that is a union of two? To show that it is not, it is said, "Since two things are completely abandoned, it is called the non-dual Dharma." It means that when there are no things, etc., will the nature of liberation from that exist in the form of things? Or will the third possibility of the union of two exist? Where would it become like that? This is established by one's own measure. It is also said, "Existence and non-existence are called extremes, purity and impurity are also extremes, therefore, by completely abandoning the two extremes, not abiding in the Middle Way is wisdom." Thus it is said. The term "non-dual Dharma" means that all Dharmas are non-dual, or adding "the nature of non-duality," etc., refers to false words. Manifestly clinging to it is a false word. Whose false word is it? It is the false word of the complete abandonment of two things, that is, liberation from the four extremes of existence, etc. That also said, "All Dharmas are non-dual, the nature of Dharma is completely abandoned." What is said is this. This shows that all Dharmas are empty because they have no self-nature. Therefore, one should also know the absence of signs and the absence of wishes. Because beings have no reason, therefore, the unborn is the absence of signs. It is said, "Not born from self, not from other, not from both, not without cause. Whatever thing, wherever, birth never exists." Because there is no birth, there is no self-nature, so what would one wish for? Therefore, it also becomes wishless. The yoga of the deities is also shown to be non-dual in the same way, therefore, the upper and lower parts of the form, the beginning, the end, and the central channel abide equally.

Thus, and so on, it is said. Form is called the aggregate of form. By the meaning of near indication, it is held between the realms and so on. Emptiness is called the nature of the three doors of liberation. Therefore, saying beginning, end, and so on, is easy to understand. Or, the beginning is like the initial stage of divine yoga. The middle is like the time of completion. The end is like the time of change. Remaining in equanimity is the ultimate of emptiness and non-duality. Pure ༄། The Middle Way of purity and impurity is that some consider it to be equal contemplation. What is called impurity is connected with desire. Purity is the opposite of this. The Middle Way is to be free from the extremes of purity and impurity, becoming equal in one taste. The only one is called non-duality. Contemplation refers to focusing on this. Or, purity is purity. Impurity is other. The rest is as previously stated. In order to explain this closely, it is said that the Middle Way is to be relied upon and not relied upon. What should be relied upon is called what should be practiced. What should not be relied upon is what should not be practiced. The Middle Way is abandoning the two, which is equality itself. To indicate this, wisdom and so on are mentioned. Wisdom is called mind. Born from karma means that the self-knowing mind is also the meaning of the ultimate of equality. The body is remaining in equanimity, which means that, as previously stated, the Dharma nature ultimately reaches equality. Purity also abides in equality, which means that purity also returns to equality. The meaning of these is that, just as the appearances of mind, awareness, and what is to be aware of are not independent, just as they ultimately reach equality, so is the body. Just as the body is broken down into minute particles, and is not different anywhere, so is the mind. Just as body and mind are without self-nature, so is speech, like a sound image, without self-nature in the ultimate sense, ultimately reaching equality. This is the meaning. Thus it is said, you generate mind like body, body like mind, speech like mind, and mind like words, that is what is said. What will these become? Equality.
