Also, do whatever you can. Furthermore, these fourteen that are explained, are known as defeats of others. Know them to be root downfalls, recite them three times during the day and three times during the night, every day. Vajra brothers are indeed friends, so honor the yogis. Do not abandon or discard them, but practice them correctly as much as you can. Do not desire inferior vehicles. Do not completely abandon samsara, and do not always be pleased with nirvana. Do not despise the deities of the three secrets. Do not step over the hand seals, mounts, weapons, and symbols. Do not kill living beings, and do not take what is not given. Do not engage in sexual misconduct, and do not speak false words. Abandon all actions that are not proper. Do not turn your back on the benefit of sentient beings. Stay close to what is good. Honor the three yogas. The actions of the body are threefold, the actions of speech are fourfold, and the aspects of the mind are threefold. Protect them as much as you can. These ༄། Are said to be the vows. You should protect them from now on. He also says this: I beseech the teacher here. As the chief has commanded, I will do accordingly. After that, this will gradually bestow the vows. To all the Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas residing in the infinite and boundless realms of the ten directions, I prostrate. May the protectors, the Buddhas and their sons, be mindful of me. I, named so-and-so, from this time forth, will hold firmly until the essence of enlightenment is reached. Just as the protectors of the three times have determined to attain enlightenment, I will generate the supreme and noble mind of enlightenment. In the vows of Buddha Yoga, the training of discipline, the accumulation of virtuous dharmas, and the three vows of benefiting sentient beings, I will firmly uphold them. I will take refuge in the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, the supreme Three Jewels, from this day forward, and I will never abandon them. The best of the Vajra family, the Vajra bell and hand seals, should be properly held.

Please also accept me, O teachers. For the most excellent of the precious families, whose vows are pleasing, always give the four kinds of generosity six times a day. In the pure lotus family, which arises from great enlightenment, the outer, inner, and secret three vehicles are to be taken as sacred Dharma. For the most excellent of the karma families, possessing all vows, truly take them, and do as much worship as possible. I shall generate the unsurpassed Bodhicitta, and for the sake of all sentient beings, I shall take all vows. I shall liberate those who are not liberated, and deliver those who are not delivered. I shall give breath to those who have not breathed, and place sentient beings in Nirvana. Om Sarva Tathagata Yoga Kaya Vaka Citta Mudra Daya Mi Shi Shya Na Va She Sha Satra Dhatu Hita Sukhot Ma Siddha Atya Nta Bha Va Siddhi Mahe Sharya Dhi Pa Dya Cha Ya.
