The ritual of empowerment for the glorious Ocean of Dakinis. Jaya Sena. The ritual of empowerment for the glorious Ocean of Dakinis. Jaya Sena. The preliminary practice ritual ༄. Herein is the ritual of empowerment for the glorious Ocean of Dakinis. Homage to the Bhagavan, the glorious Ocean of Dakinis. Primordially pure, without defilement, free from elaboration and unspeakable, covering all and transforming, homage to the Ocean of Dakinis. Its very essence is without difference, taking the form of a samsaric being, accomplishing the benefit of those to be tamed, homage to the assembly of lamas. In the great tradition of Vajrayana, if one has not entered one's own mandala, it is not appropriate to desire to practice. The faultless sequence of empowerment of the glorious Ocean of Dakinis should be written down from the lama's oral instructions. Whatever is not fully explained in one's own tantras, is also accepted by the wise who complete it from other supreme tantras. Therefore, a pure disciple who is diligent, abandoning desire, hatred, and ignorance, not refuting the reasoning of others, a disciple endowed with all qualities. The qualities of the teacher are also: benefiting all sentient beings, having the power of fearlessness, knowing the union of mantra and tantra, the union of craftsmanship and transformation, etc., being in harmony with all concordant speech powers, being as harmonious as with an only child, and always rejoicing in generosity, etc. ༄. Meditation and samadhi are supreme, acting as spoken, without harm and truthful speech, loving all sentient beings, reaching the end of the path is ultimate, equal to the qualities of omniscience, reaching the other shore of all scriptures, being the father and mother of the helpless, making mudras and symbols. Furthermore, having heard much of the teachings of the Tathagata, knowing the rituals of mantra and tantra, possessing patience and knowing all the characteristics, one who has received empowerment in the mandala of the glorious Ocean of Dakinis, should strive to please the lama who is diligent in yoga, with mandalas and so on, striving to please him until he is pleased. Then the lama asks: What do you desire? Having asked thus, he should also speak his own thoughts. Then the disciple should

Offerings are made abundantly with clouds of offerings to the Lama, reciting "Om Sarva Tathagata Kaya Vaka Citta Praname Na Vajra Bandhanam Karomi" (藏文:ཨོཾ་སརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏ་ཀཱ་ཡ་བཱ་ཀ་ཙིཏྟ་པྲ་ཎཱ་མེ་ན་བཛྲ་པནྡྷ་ནཾ་ཀ་རོ་མི་,梵文天城体:ओं सर्व तथागत काय वाक चित्त प्रणामेन वज्र बन्धनं करोमि,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ sarva tathāgata kāya vāk citta praṇāmena vajra bandhanaṃ karomi,汉语字面意思:Om, all Tathagatas' body, speech, and mind, with prostration, the Vajra bond, I make) or "Om Shri Vajra He He Ru Ru Kam Hum Hum Phet Dakini Jala Sambhara Svaha" (藏文:ཨོཾ་ཤྲཱི་བཛྲ་ཧེ་ཧེ་རུ་རུ་ཀཾ་ཧཱུཾ་ཧཱུཾ་ཕཊ་ཌཱ་ཀི་ནཱི་ཛཱ་ལ་སམྦ་ར་སྭཱཧཱ།,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:,汉语字面意思:). All the Thus-gone are peaceful, The abode of all the Thus-gone, The supreme of all dharmas, devoid of self, I beseech you to explain the sacred mandala. All characteristics are perfectly complete, All non-characteristics are perfectly abandoned, Samantabhadra, the supreme of body, I beseech you to explain the sacred mandala. Born from the supreme peaceful dharma, Purifying the conduct of wisdom, Samantabhadra, the supreme of speech, I beseech you to explain the sacred mandala. The great mind of all sentient beings, Thus pure, without defilement, Samantabhadra, the supreme of mind, I beseech you to explain the essence of the mandala. With this praise, beseech the Lama three times. Because the Lama is beseeched, In mind, proceed in this order. In the glorious Samvara Wheel it is said, This ritual is for all beings, I shall guide with effort, May they also attain supreme bliss. With this unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, It will surely bestow Bodhi. Thus generating the mind, one should say this to the disciple: Those who are drowning in the ocean of samsara, They are covered by the mud of afflictions, Minds that are unable to cross over, For those who are a collection of extreme suffering, The deliverance of the Hearers and so on, And the Bodhisattvas, the sons of the Victorious Ones, The heroes who have attained great bliss, The twelve wheels have abandoned defilements, In the unsurpassed mandala, Are you willing to enter? Thus, ask three times. With the intention of guiding beings, Following the verses that have been spoken, The disciple should answer, "I am willing to enter" three times. Then, the Lama should ask, "Have all your necessities been gathered?" three times. Then, the disciple should answer, "Slightly not gathered." These are the rituals of beseeching. Then, the Lama who is making the request, with a well-composed mind, should thoroughly understand the ritual of the Dakini Ocean Mandala, which will be explained below, and having made the disciple well-composed, the Lama who has previously mastered the yoga of the glorious Dakini Ocean.
