is the fruit of that. But how can it be transformed by merely meditating? For example, some poor people meditate, "I am a universal monarch," but they do not attain the fruit of being a universal monarch. Also, if one meditates on a hungry ghost, one will attain the fruit of a hungry ghost. Because good and non-good deeds should not be separated from their fruits. Although meditation can make the object slightly clearer, it is only like the appearance of the desired object of a greedy person, and can only continue for a short time. Because it is only conceptual thought, its nature is false. Merely arising from attachment to what is not true, worldly phenomena are unreal. The yoga of conceptual thought is even more false than worldly phenomena, because what it contemplates are sounds and so on, which are separate from color and shape. Whatever appears, even if it exists for only a moment, is meaningless. Because tangible things exist in their own specific places and times. Because it is not a superior method, it does not possess the qualities such as clairvoyance that are useful to beings. A superior method refers to those who possess such qualities. Tangible things are not pervasive, otherwise a vase should also be pervasive. If someone thinks that the object of meditation will appear, then, like a jewel that can reflect various images, it should also be possible to clearly reflect all kinds of images desired by countless different dispositions at the same time. Therefore, due to the differences in the inclinations of limitless beings, the complete enjoyment body and emanation body, which have limitless and inconceivable forms, cannot be accomplished through meditation, so one should only strive for their cause. And that is not accomplished by merely meditating. Thus, for the time being, the ༄། །image meditation extended by reason does not lead to Buddhahood. The scriptures also say, as the glorious Vajrayogini Tantra says: "How to follow the tantric path, people diligently generate afflictions, because they destroy their own minds. Therefore, diligence

All actions, such as the rituals of mandalas, do not change liberation, but are the cause of confusion. Thus it is said. In the glorious King of Two Observations it is also said: There is no recitation of mantras, no asceticism, and no fire offering. There is no mandala maker, and there is no mandala. That is the recitation of mantras, that is asceticism, that is the fire offering. That is the mandala maker, that is the mandala. The gathering that arises from gathering is the form of the mind. Thus it is said. In the glorious Union of Bindus it is also said: One should not contemplate emptiness, nor should one contemplate non-emptiness. From grasping non-emptiness as emptiness, other discriminations will arise. Thus it is said. The feet of Indrabhuti also said: Mudras, mandalas, mantras, etc., the effort of recitation and meditation, even after countless millions of kalpas, will not achieve the supreme result. Thus it is said. The feet of Sarahah also said: There is no mantra, no cause, and no grasping of what is to be known. Alas! All are the cause of ignorance and confusion. The stainless mind should not be stained by meditation, and the mind that dwells in bliss should not be made to suffer. Thus it is said. If so, then how are the forms of the deities and meditation, etc., shown? It is for the sake of worldly accomplishments, and it is for the sake of those who desire them alone, so say some. That which is said: For sentient beings who are the first to act, the body of the deity is meditated upon, in order to accomplish all actions, it is definitely taught in the tantras at the beginning. Thus it is said. It is only for the sake of making them possess a share of that wisdom, so say others. By meditating on the form of the glorious Heruka and others, only that much is accomplished.

O! Thus spoke the noble Deva: For those deluded by meditating on non-existence, solely relying on whatever is near, like the childlike nature of space, that will become the most extremely stubborn thing. Thus it is said. The noble Deva also said: So-called unborn, so-called emptiness, so-called selflessness, so-called Dharma-nature, if one meditates on an inferior self-nature, that is not his meditation. Thus it is said. Therefore, merely relying on the form of a deity, from the instructions of the Guru, meditating on the nature of non-duality of union, the nature of great bliss, how could there be any fault of speech? However, someone says that even a slightly spoken Samadhi will not be attained, that is not true, because it has been proven by experience that a mind of reverence and other habits, especially excellent, can obtain stability on the object of focus. Thus it is said. Therefore, whether right or wrong, whatever becomes very habitual, through the perfection of the power of meditation, that will be the clear, non-conceptual wisdom fruit. Thus it is said. It is also said in the Tantra: By whatever meditation, the minds of people are rightly joined, it will change into its nature, like a jewel of various forms. Thus it is said. For non-single aspects, non-conceptual seeing and hearing,
