The Difficult Explanation of the Great King of the Śrī Saṃvara Arising Tantra, called "Lotus Garland". The Difficult Explanation of the Great King of the Śrī Saṃvara Arising Tantra, called "Lotus Garland". Ratnarakṣita. Explanation of the First Chapter. ༄༅། །In Indian language: Śrīsaṃvarodayamahātantrarājasya padminīnāmapañcikā. In Tibetan: The Difficult Explanation of the Great King of the Śrī Saṃvara Arising Tantra, called "Lotus Garland". Homage to the Glorious Cakrasaṃvara! The profound jewel arises without remainder, the sole treasure for the life of beings. The awakened assembly truly relies upon it, dwelling in hundreds of various wonders. The heroine truly possesses a body, endowed with nectar, the basis of excellence and goodness. The great Saṃvara Arising Tantra, like an ocean of milk, is relied upon by the wise. Relying on the light of the Guru's kindness, dispelling darkness with the eye of wisdom, whatever meaning of Saṃvara Arising is seen, here I shall write. Although I may enter this state, I may not be able to fathom its depths, nevertheless, desiring to generate familiarity with virtue, I compose this explanation. If one cannot fully touch the depths of the river's treasure, will those who enter that ritual not obtain the desired meaning and glory? Here, the Bhagavan, निश्चित(藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思)certainly, the three realms ༄༅། །Desiring to subdue without remainder, having realized the perfectly complete Buddha's enlightenment, he truly satisfied beings with the nectar of the Dharma according to their capacity. Moreover, at that time, for the sake of those beings who were not dwelling nearby, he made this collection of the true Dharma. The so-called collection is the gathering of the Dharma as it was heard, in the order without confusion, into a treatise. Briefly, the teacher of all beings, such as gods, asuras, and humans, the sole supreme one, unequaled and peerless, because it was spoken by a person who has become a measure, this treatise was not self-made, but because it was truly understood by the ear-consciousness, it was shown to be self-nature as a measure. From "Thus I have heard" to the request, the Bhagavan, the compiler, briefly showed it as a branch for the entrance of the listening beings.

It is said. In order to enter the limb of faith, in order to perfectly prove oneself as a measure, the teacher, retinue, and witness, places and times must be specified. By gathering, places and times are also indicated in the world. ༄། །Saying "speech is power" becomes an even more superior measure. So it is said. If, because places and times are not specified separately, how are these to be understood? It should be said that those are not the only subjects that must be understood, because even without those, some can become measures by mere senses. Places and times are indicated, and this is mostly the case. In terms of the Paramitas, since time is not a thing, only the place is enough to specify by being able to go to fields of merit and sightseeing places. Here, in order to make the beings to be tamed at any time and place, be indicated at that time and place, in order to enter perfectly, the determination of the place cannot be done either, so only a common instruction is made. Or there are also cases where places and times are determined separately, even so, the Blessed One briefly indicated the Hearer Vehicle for those with inferior intentions, and for those with profound intentions and those with non-attachment minds, he clearly explained the principle of the Paramitas, and for the most profound Dharma vessels, in the auspicious Rice Heap Stupa, he built the mandala of the Auspicious Dharma Realm Speech Empowerment on the night of the Black Moon, thus clarifying all the treatises on the principle of mantras, so it is said. However, here, precisely in order to eliminate attachment to external objects by the principle of the ultimate truth, it is not briefly indicated. Or, in order to perfectly indicate that which pervades the ten directions of samsara, abides in each of the dust particles of all dharmas that abide in the boundless realm of space, and abides in the Vajra Jewel Peak Palace, the determination of place and time is not mentioned here. Because the nature, function, cause of accomplishment, and all the qualities indicated by these words and so on will be expressed, just like that, the aspect
