Surrounded by... For the unsubmissive ones of the fire realm, surrounded by the Destroyer Mother, the City Mother, the Fierce Form Mother, and the Great Form Mother. For the delighting in the absence of truth and the transcendent, surrounded by those who hold fangs, those who hold vows, those who hold skull garlands, and those who hold khatvangas. For the reversing guides of the wind realm, surrounded by those who hold swords, those who hold enemy axes, those who hold vajras, and those who hold bows. Beyond that, surrounded by eight great charnel grounds, contemplate being surrounded by eight directional guardians, eight messengers, eight nagas, eight clouds, eight dakinis, and eight mamos. For peaceful activities, everything is white; for increasing activities, everything is yellow; for magnetizing activities, everything is red; for wrathful activities, everything is black. All thirty-two goddesses hold curved knives and skull cups. The directional guardians of the eight charnel grounds are: In the east, holding a vajra; in the south, holding a sword; in the west, holding a noose; in the north, holding a staff. In the four intermediate directions, holding a three-pronged vajra, a knife, a banner, and a trident, respectively. They have the colors of the four activities. Invite with offerings, invoking the mantra ཨེ་ཨཱ་རལླི་ཧེ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Chinese literal meaning) and the mudra of the birthplace. Having contemplated such guests, when should one make offerings? It is said in the scriptures: On the tenth day of the waxing moon, when the moon has not yet become full, make offerings swiftly and diligently. The tenth day is when the goddess of the first place is present on the first day, the goddess of the nearby place on the second day, the field on the third day, the nearby field on the fourth day, Chandoha on the fifth day, the nearby Chandoha on the sixth day, the confluence on the seventh day, the nearby confluence on the eighth day, the charnel ground on the ninth day, and the goddesses of the nearby charnel ground are all complete on the tenth day. What should one offer with? It is said in the scriptures: The intoxicating part of the Vajra Goddess, namely the heart, flesh, and alcohol of a sixteen-year-old girl. To whom should one offer? It is said in the scriptures: Offer to those who have faith, namely the goddesses of the tsok wheel. What should one meditate on? Meditate on Heruka. What kind of samadhi is it? It is the samadhi of vipashyana with the bliss of shamatha and the mind of reverence. For them, the supreme place will not be taken away. This is after making the tsok wheel and the torma.
