It is adorned with earth, moon, and auspicious symbols. Since it transforms into the twelve links of dependent origination, it possesses twelve hands. The hands all have names, enjoying the essence that is devoid of both objects and faculties. The vajra transforms into the mind of enlightenment. The bell is explained as prajna. Since the three kayas are completely pure, it is three-pointed. The elephant skin is for tearing apart ignorance. The axe is for cutting off faults. All faults arising from body, speech, and mind, as well as all unfavorable aspects, are bound by the lasso. The curved knife swiftly accomplishes the affairs of sentient beings. The head is the self-nature of Brahma. The khatvanga is the self-nature of emptiness. The hand drum, with pure means, with a constantly joyful form, proclaims the Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum) of the Dharmadhatu. The skull cup is the cause of accomplishment, drinking the blood that fills the entire sphere of space with the juice of compassion. The four very prominent fangs are for subduing the four maras. Possessing a collection of radiant light and flames, it is constantly filled with the juice of non-dual compassion, and it laughs loudly, with the face fully expanded. Adorned with a garland of heads, it is the purification of the four disturbing emotion maras. Completely pure emptiness is the threatening mudra. The messenger is the first purity. This is said to be the cause of happiness for all the precious Buddhas. The second is considered to be the moon. The moon is amrita, which is alcohol. Determining to eat only one food is to generate the many ways of how to act as one. These purities and so on are clear. Obtaining the lands of the Tathagatas refers to the accomplishment of Mahamudra. When it is not obtained due to weak diligence, then also, like a snake shedding its old skin, completely abandoning this body, abiding in extraordinary appearances and so on, like the Tathagatas, one is liberated from bondage. Then, if one is born again in the human world, one will become a king endowed with Dharma. From merit and wisdom arises the mind of enlightenment, like a vajra, closely nourishing all sentient beings, and the mind of aspiration.

It makes all sentient beings live happily and benefits all. In all births, may I be born into the lineage of the Tathagata. Just like the birth of Lord Shakyamuni. Therefore, one should offer food and drink to the essence of all Buddhas and so on. Giving the torma with faith means having faith in whatever activities one desires, such as pacifying and increasing. The tenth day of the dark fortnight is determined as it is, by firmly joining one's own thumbs in the vajra mudra and bowing the head slightly. The index fingers are joined and placed in the center of the forehead, rotating clockwise and counterclockwise, and reciting this mantra: Om Aralli Hoh Jah Hum Bam Hoh. (Tibetan: བཛྲ་ཌཱ་ཀི་ནཱི་ས་མ་ཡ་སྟྭཾ་དྲྀ་ཤྱ་ཧོཿ, Devanagari: वज्र डाकिनी समय स्त्वं दृष्य होः, Romanized Sanskrit: vajra ḍākinī samaya stvaṃ dṛṣya hoḥ, Literal Chinese: Vajra Dakini Samaya Tvam Drisya Hoh) Recite this three or four times. The male practitioner, naked with disheveled hair, should stay in a solitary place facing south and offer the torma at midnight. Offering the torma to all beings, this solitary place is as excellent as Mount Sumeru, and on top of it, a vast mandala is arranged, square with four doors, adorned with four toranas. In the center of the five-layered wheel, in the center of the variegated lotus, visualize Vajrasattva dissolving into oneself, transforming into glorious Heruka. The nature of constant and discontinuous thoughts, above the terrifying and the seasonal, abiding with the posture of extending the right [leg], completely subduing all maras. The body color is deep blue, extremely terrifying, like the great fire at the end of an eon, with three unbearable eyes, adorned with a garland of skulls, blessed by the five Buddhas, the hair on the head bound with variegated vajras, adorned with the Bodhicitta moon, adorned with the six mudras on the body, adorned with all the marks and signs, with six faces and sixteen arms. Possessing bravery, lamentation, coquetry, laughter, ferocity, with the mouth open and the tongue curled, blue, as well as red, yellow, green, white, and the face on top.
