Because of possessing (severance) qualities, it is Bhagavan. How is it possessing (severance) qualities? It is said to be brave, because it triumphs over the battlefield of afflictions, therefore it is a hero. Likewise, afflictions and other demons, because of severing the four demons, are Bhagavan. Severing the demons of affliction, aggregates, death, and the son of gods. Furthermore, by subduing afflictions and other demons, it is called Bhagavan because of subduing. So, how are afflictions severed? To this question, it is said to be Dakini and so on. Dakini is wisdom, which is the nature of thoroughly distinguishing the Dharma, and it is the nature of suchness. The net is affliction. Guarding is guarding the mind from it. Because Dakini is the cause, this guarding of the net and so on is the guarding of the Dakini's net. Just as the guarding of the Dakini's net is, because oneself is a hero, the auspicious Heruka is truly united, which is the meaning of "Shad". Likewise, by wisdom subduing afflictions, therefore it is said that wisdom is Bhagavan. This is what is said. Victory over afflictions is guarding the mind. The net is the meaning of ignorance, and it also encompasses all afflictions. The root of any affliction is the view of self. Likewise, all kinds of faults arise from the view of self. That also arises from ignorance of existence, therefore faults and so on arise from it. With ignorance, faults, and so on, it is said to be the place of origin. By abandoning the view of self, all faults can be abandoned. This is what is said. Having the ability, if there is a cause, a result will arise, that is the meaning. The auspicious Heruka truly united, surrounded by the retinue of all Dakinis, like that I have summarized and explained, that is the meaning. Self-arisen, some say that the nature of cause and effect and so on exists by its own nature. But in the ultimate sense, cause and effect and so on do not exist by their own nature. For the time being, this present one is not a result, because it is separate from arising from existence and non-existence. Anything that exists does not arise, because it is existence itself. Just like an object that appears to be a cause.

If things already exist, will they also arise? Then things will not be destroyed. If it is thought that it will be destroyed, then if the previous existing thing is destroyed, the previous non-existent thing will arise, then there will be no arising from the existing thing. If the previous existing thing is destroyed and the previous non-existent thing arises, even so, it arises from the existing thing, because it arises together with the previous non-existent thing. If you think so, it is impossible to arise together, because the previous one has already been destroyed. Because the previous thing has been destroyed and the current thing exists, it is similar to non-existence, so it cannot be produced, so there is no arising from the existing thing. If it is not that you do not think that it arises from the existing thing, then what will the existing thing become? Because things that do not arise, such as rabbit horns, do not exist. Because it has the nature of being able to function, it is a thing. Because it cannot be used for practical affairs, just like human horns, etc., because it pursues practical affairs, it does not admit any constant things. Or, even if it has been admitted that existing things will arise, they will not arise from those things, because they have been denied. Non-existent things will not arise either, because they will be refuted below. There is no arising from existing and non-existing things, because they exist in mutual exclusion, so there is no identity. On the side that is neither existing nor non-existing, there will be no arising either, because both existing and non-existing are denied at the same time. It is reversed from existing and non-existing things, because it is not the self-nature of existing and non-existing things, so it is impossible in other places. Even if it exists, it is considered impermanent, so the cause and effect must exist, because this is the time to prevent the argument about the existence of the result. It cannot be used for practical affairs, because it cannot be produced from existing things either. Therefore, in common, all things do not exist in the nature of one and many, because arising has been denied. If it is because it is being argued that things have no self-nature, so they have no arising, will they always become non-existent things? Here, the answer should be: before arising, does an existing thing arise, or does a non-existing thing arise? If you think it arises from an existing thing, then it arises from an existing thing
