It is not separate from the aspects of being and non-being. It is not inseparable from the knowledge of yellow, nor is it separate from blue. If it is not the very nature of that, then it is not correct knowledge. Just as the knowledge of yellow is not the knowledge of black. Just as the image of one's own face appears in a mirror, it is the aspect of one's own face, not the aspect of another. It correctly knows its own face, but not another, because it is separate from its aspect. Similarly, by the discriminating consciousness of another, it is not the aspect of the object of blue, because it is too extreme. Nor is it correct knowledge. Knowledge without aspect is also not the knower of the object of blue, because it is separate from all aspects of the object, like the center of a mirror that is separate from all images. How can the object be understood? Because the surface of the mirror is separate from all images, and because it is separate from images, it does not understand its own face, etc. Similarly, since there is no image of the nature of the object in knowledge anywhere, how can the object itself be understood? The object does not become manifest like one's own face, because the fault previously pointed out exists. Therefore, it is impossible to correctly know the object through both the formless and the one with the form of another. What has arisen incidentally is sufficient. This is only pointing out one aspect, and I have not written more because I am concerned about the length of the text. From what does it become like that? "The field of definite arising" means that definite arising, etc., is spoken of. This definitely and particularly makes the deities definite, therefore it is definite arising, that is, the collection of vowels and consonants. Then again, from what? "From the manner of sound" etc. is spoken of. The manner of sound is just sound. That is the subtle basis of each. Its form is its very nature. How is the seat? Above the collection of vowels and consonants is Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽). What arises from that is the variegated vajra, that is, the syllable Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) situated on the seat above the navel. Above that, the intermediate offering is the black Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽). Above that is the red Āḥ (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:阿).
