The fatherless one is the cause, namely the great Prajñāpāramitā, emptiness endowed with all supreme aspects. Or, the images of the Buddhas, all beings of the three realms, are the cause. The fruit born from this is the sixteen unchanging supreme bliss, holding half-half bindus. The Tathāgatas proclaimed the wisdom of great wisdom. Half of the sixteen parts is eight parts. Half of that is the four bindus, namely the nature of body, speech, mind, and wisdom, generating the states of awakening, dreaming, deep sleep, and the fourth. In order to hold these, holding sixteen half-half bindus, causing the four samayas to move. This is its meaning. Vajrasattva's great bliss is indivisible, meaning abandoning the fifteen white parts, abiding at the end of these, meaning the end of the complete white part. Innumerable means not entering the first day of the black part, meaning beyond counting, which is the meaning of co-emergent. Holding the peak of the four dhyānas, here first is the dhyāna of joy-bliss, second is the dhyāna of supreme joy-bliss, third is the dhyāna of joy-separation joy-bliss, and fourth is the dhyāna of co-emergent joy-bliss, namely the fifth, tenth, fifteenth, and the end of the month, the unchanging supreme bliss dhyāna abides in the bindu. Its peak, the end part, is the complete bliss itself. It is the peak of dhyāna, and in order to hold it, holding the peak of the four dhyānas, the Bhagavan said. Thus, by cultivating these sixteen samayas, by their power, one should always protect them at all times. The practitioner who well establishes equanimity, here equanimity refers to wisdom and skillful means abiding at the end of the white part, by the power of cultivation, the first to the fifth days generate the joy of bodhicitta. The sixth to the fifth days generate supreme joy. The eleventh to the fifth days generate joy-separation joy. The sixteenth part at the end of the month generates co-emergent joy. Sixteen parts

Focus is without object, abiding in this is the one who accomplishes perfect samadhi. Thus, the best of those who hold great discipline. After that, the time of dripping, when the first day of the dark moon arrives, the dripping is the black side of detachment. Entering into this is not being in equilibrium, it comes from the exhaustion of the four joys. Here, the dark side of the moon of bodhicitta is attachment and detachment, it is the cause of the exhaustion of the four joys. Among them, the first five days of the dark moon are those that cause joy to be exhausted. The five dharmas from the sixth onwards are those that cause supreme joy to be exhausted. The five days from the eleventh onwards are those that cause the joy of separation to be exhausted. At the end of the empty sky, the sixteenth part of the moon wanes, it is what causes the co-emergent joy to be exhausted. Thus, the white side and the black side are the sides of attachment and detachment of those in samsara. In the middle of these, the fourth co-emergent wisdom, is transformation or non-transformation, is separation from what is born from the two senses. Here, from the tsumpa of wisdom, it first transforms into the moment of joy, this is the samaya of the body. When joy is exhausted, the vajra enters the lotus, transforming into the moment of supreme joy, this is the samaya of speech. When supreme joy is exhausted, the vajra moves in the lotus, transforming into the moment of the joy of separation, this is the samaya of mind. When the joy of separation is exhausted, the vajra turns into a jewel, the bodhicitta matures, transforming into the moment of co-emergent joy, this is the fourth samaya of wisdom, as the Bhagavan said. Thus, when the previous moment ceases, the next moment arises. How the interval of the co-emergent moment is the side of attachment. Thus, all joys are equal in taste and completeness in co-emergence. After that, when the vajra turns into a jewel, the bodhicitta is transferred, then it is the side of detachment. In the side of detachment, the first is the detachment of joy. When the detachment of joy is exhausted, it is the detachment of supreme joy. When the detachment of supreme joy is exhausted, it is the detachment of the joy of separation. When the detachment of the joy of separation is exhausted, it is the detachment of the joy of co-emergence.
