Ah, great splendor! The lord of body, speech, mind, and attachment, in an instant becomes a Buddha. This is the certainty of the Blessed One's keeping of vows. Outwardly, again, the four outer vows should be kept and concealed with the names of place, nature, and lineage, and then eaten. Likewise, at the time of offerings, those with lineage should eat, and yogis who hold earthen bowls, who have abandoned worldly names, should eat. Here, the four outer vows are: drinking five kinds of alcohol, eating five kinds of meat, associating with five kinds of consorts, and tasting five kinds of nectar. In detail, with thirty-seven distinctions, in other root tantras, such as the 'Manifestation of Enlightenment' and the 'Hundred Thousand Verses,' what the Blessed One has said, the yogi should know. Thus, keeping the vows and what is to be eaten, in all other tantras, is for the sake of worldly and transworldly accomplishments, this is the certainty spoken by the Blessed One. Therefore, one should understand the wisdom tantra through the intention of the method tantra. One should understand the method tantra through the intention of the wisdom tantra, for the sake of purifying the vows and for the sake of purifying the root chakras. In the sixteen thousand tantras of the 'Net of Illusion,' the Blessed One also spoke of the means of keeping those sixteen vows. As with the verses of empowerment previously mentioned, one should understand the keeping of vows here in the same way. All forms are without form. These and other vajra words are of definite meaning. Here, 'all forms are without form' is the cause, gathering individually, whatever is seen, such as a vase or cloth, appears like throwing dice. 'All forms' means knowing from direct perception that is free from conceptualization and without error. 'Without form' means transcending the nature of minute particles, knowing from the nature of being free from conceptualization. Why? Because it is to be understood by covered and uncovered eyes, therefore it is neither form nor other than form, it is not to be understood by the eye, nor is it to be understood without the eye. Thus, all forms are
