Like holding, mindfulness, and samadhi, these are considered the combination of six limbs. Thus, before meditation, one should understand withdrawal. Before mantra recitation, one should understand life force exertion. Here, the term 'mantra recitation' refers to the recitation of neither male nor female, or Vajra recitation, which is life force exertion. Before bliss, one should understand mindfulness; here, the term 'bliss' refers to samadhi. Thus, with these six limbs, a yogi will attain Buddhahood. Common external yogis will attain worldly siddhis. For beginner child yogis, worldly siddhis are the fruit, such as mantra recitation, meditation, mandala wheels, conceptual mind of practice and bliss, establishing action mudras and wisdom mudras, and the bliss of movement, through worldly truth, reaching the limit of the Akanishta realm. Thus, through the sequence of both, worldly and transcendental yogis will attain accomplishment. Here, the transcendental yogi is accomplished through the combination of the six limbs, as it is to be explained. Here, 'withdrawal' means: External objects such as forms, sense faculties such as the eyes, do not allow entry to visual consciousness, etc., but internal objects and divine sense faculties such as the divine eye allow entry to divine visual consciousness, etc. By focusing on emptiness internally, seeing all things without relying on emptiness is like a polished mirror, seen by a young maiden, seeing the image of the Buddha of the three realms, which is said to be the limb of withdrawal. Then, 'meditation' means: seeing all existing things as empty, which is called wisdom, is the mind entering those things. 'Reflection' means holding the object of the mind. 'Discernment' means understanding the object being held. 'Joy' means the mind abiding in all things. 'Bliss' means not wavering from all things.

Thus, the five branches of meditation are spoken of, which are the bliss of perfect fulfillment. Next, what is called "Prana Control" is that the channels of Lalana and Rasana, the left and right channels, are blocked, and thus the life-force wind constantly enters the central channel Avadhuti. Through the yoga of filling, vase-like retention, and expulsion, in Avadhuti, arising with the syllable Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), stopping with the syllable Hum (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), and entering with the syllable Ah (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:阿), the yogi should become accustomed to the nature of the moon, Rahu, and the sun. This is the explanation of the branch of Prana Control. Next, what is called "Retention" is that in the navel, heart, throat, and forehead, in the mandala of the Great Lord, water, fire, and wind, the life-force does not go outward, but abides in the bindu. This is the explanation of the branch of Retention. Next, what is called "Remembrance" is seeing the deity of one's desire, whose form is free from all conceptualization. From that, the nature of radiating countless rays of light is the mandala of light. From that, the nature of radiating various forms is spreading into the three realms. This is the explanation of the branch of Remembrance. Next, what is called "Samadhi" is obtaining the unchanging bliss from following the deity of one's desire. In this, the mind focused on one point, free from the grasped and the grasper, is what the Thus-Gone Ones call the branch of Samadhi. Here, the six-branch yoga is taught in brief. To explain it extensively would be a hundred thousand verses. For the attainment of Mahamudra, the yogi should realize the supreme, primordial Buddha by relying on the oral instructions of the noble guru. Here, the initial path of the six branches, the oral instructions on the branches of meditation, are also taught in other tantras. Here, it is the approach, proximate accomplishment, and great accomplishment of the glorious Guhyasamaja Tantra. That is what the Bhagavan said: "During the approach, one should diligently contemplate the image of the Great Crown Protuberance. During the proximate accomplishment, it is the image of the swirling nectar. When the yogi diligently practices, one should contemplate the image of the deity. During the great accomplishment, it is the image of the Buddha Lord." Thus it is said. Here, it is a language of other intentions.
