It is thought that what is called "non-existence" is a temporary emptiness. It should not be viewed in this way, because these dependent arising dharmas themselves are unborn, and everything is like the moon in water. It is said: "Whatever is dependently arisen, its essence is unborn." Here it is also said: "The great life is unborn," because it is both life and great. Again, here it is said: "Unchanging, goer, pervasive." Among them, unchanging is because it is unconditioned, the all-pervading goer follows various things, and pervasive pervades all stable and moving things, that is, pervades all things. Therefore, this is the wheel of manifestation that manifests various forms. It is surrounded by the five great elements, so it is said: "The five great elements are of one essence." When its dependent body arises, it is also surrounded by the five great elements, that is: "From the one great bliss, it transforms into five rulas." Then, the very A is surrounded by fifty categories, as follows: First, from the sixteen sounds of A, the division of elements should be explained, starting from A A, which is the space element, because it arises from within. I I is the letter of the wind element, because it arises from the merit of Ya. E Ai is the letter of the fire element, because it arises from the merit of the letter Ra. Ṛ Ṝ ḷ Ḹ are the merits of fire and earth, and are called the four neuter vowels. O Au is the letter of the water element, because it arises from the merit of the letter Va. Aṃ arises from the consciousness element, because it is the nature of bodhicitta. Aḥ arises from the wisdom element. Alternatively, Aṃ is the moon element, and Aḥ is the sun element. From these, the elements are divided into five and six. Thus, from the merit of the vowels, the consonants should also be seen to arise. For example, Ka Kha Ga Gha Nga arises from the merit of the vowels A A, that is, the sound called "Akuha" comes from the throat.

Arising is the realm of space. That is distinguished by the vowel "ཡ" as a clarifier. ཙ་ཚ་ཛ་ཛྙ་ཉ་, these arise from the merits of the vowels "ཨི་ཨཱི་". The sound called "ཨི་ཙུ་ཡ་ཤ་" arises from the crown of the head, which is the wind element. That is distinguished by the letter "ཨིས་" as a clarifier. ཊ་ཋ་ཌ་ཌྷ་ཎ་, these clarifying vowels arise from the merits of "རྀ". The sound called "རྀ་ཊུ་ར་ཥ་" arises from the tip of the tongue and the palate, which is the fire element. All of those are distinguished by the vowel "རྀ" as a clarifier. ༄། །ཏ་ཐ་ད་དྷ་ན་, these arise from the merits of the vowels "ལྀ་ལཱྀ". The sound called "ལྀ་ཏུ་ལ་ས་" arises from the tip of the tongue and the teeth, which is the earth element. That is distinguished by the vowel "ལྀ" as a clarifier. པ་ཕ་བ་བྷ་མ་, these arise from the merits of the vowels "ཨོ་ཨཽ". The sound called "ཨུ་ཨོ་པུ་ཝ་" arises from the lips, which is the water element. That is distinguished by the letter "ཝ" as a clarifier. ཡ་ is wind. ར་ is fire. ལ་ is earth. ཝ་ is water. ཤ་ཥ་ས་ཧ་ཀྵ་, these arise from the uvula, which are the letters of the navel chakra. Therefore, in this way, showing the letters on the sixty-four petals of the emanation wheel, two arise from the clarifiers rotating from the right, and two arise from the clarifiers rotating from the left, placing a total of sixty. Those also reveal the distinctions of color due to the distinctions of arising, that is, the color of space is blue, the shape is triangular, the wind is green, the shape is a crescent moon, the fire is reddish-yellow, the shape is triangular, the water is white, the shape is round, and the earth is yellow, the shape is square. As it was said before in the Dharma wheel, the winds and those mentioned in the upper wheel should also be understood from this. Here, from these letters that have just been explained, the respective colors and shapes should also be understood in order. As it is said: ཨ་ is the most supreme, it is sacred, completely surrounded by eight sections. ཨ་ is the most supreme of all letters, the leader of the important sections. The mantras of sentient beings arise truly from that. Thus it is said. From that, manifestly turning upwards, when the wind and consciousness descend into the upper gates, from the paths of the sun and moon, five mandalas each rotate to the right.
