O! "All great fears" refers to the fear of flesh-eating demons, the fear of disease, the fear of the senses, etc., the fear of being without wealth, the fear of separation from friends, the fear of the king's punishment, the fear of hailstorms, and the fear of losing meaning, these are the great fears. The word "all" means that these great fears, and all that was said before, are pacified. Thus, for those who are empowered and have discernment, after teaching in this way for the sake of generating bodhicitta and relieving emotions, in order to show that they are particularly pure, it is said, "The most pure of the most pure." Among them, the most pure is the body of the deity. "Of also" means that one's own thoughts are pure, that is, those that are observed. "Also" means "too." It is a word that distinguishes from the similar. Just as those who have virtuous friends are called monks and Brahmins. Therefore, although purity is also the body of the deity, the most pure is the innate wisdom that abandons faults. In "The most pure of the most pure," the word "most" means "supreme." Pure means free from defilement. "Of also" means of those who are like that. "Most pure" means the very nature of purity, that is, this. In "The most pure of the most pure," the word "most" is as before. Purifier refers to what depends on what is to be purified, that is, whatever has defilement. Because it is washed away, it is a purifier. There are two kinds of defilement: external defilement and internal defilement. Among them, it is believed that if external defilement is purified, internal defilement is also purified, and that if internal defilement is purified, external defilement is also purified, and that if the nature is pure, defilement is also purified. Believing that external defilement is purified and internal defilement is also purified refers to showing pure land, water, kusha grass, etc. Believing that internal purity purifies the external refers to purity through mudras and mantra recitation and meditation. Those who are regarded as purifiers in that way are the purifiers.

Indeed, the practice of purification is self-nature purity. Making other things pure is merely a designation. As it is said: 'Thus born from impurity, filled entirely with impurity, how can this body be purified by washing it in the Ganges? Even if repeatedly washed with water wrapped in impurity, it will not become pure. Similarly, the aggregates filled with an impure body will not become pure.' Thus it is said. Also, in that it is said: 'That sins are exhausted by bathing is also not certain, because by relying on riverbanks, one sees afflictions and the like arise.' And so on. It is also said that purification is not achieved by mudras and mantras alone, saying: 'Gods and mantras also do not exist.' And so on. It is also said that the distinction of purification practice is shown by self-nature purity. 'Therefore, the purity of all things is said to be suchness. Other purifications do not liberate.' Also, in order to show the special methods of purification practice, the distinctions of the messenger's purification practice, the distinction of the drink purification practice, and the distinction of the food purification practice are shown. Why is that? In order to destroy the defilements of the mind. As it is said: 'The messenger's purity is the first, the second is the peaceful drink, eating in one vessel is considered the third purity.' Thus it is said. The distinctions of purity are spoken, the distinctions of purity are spoken, the qualities of purity, even if measured a thousandfold, cannot be measured, can some people say? Thus it is said. Furthermore, for the sake of offerings desired by other beings, it will not be purified by obstructions and the like, but the conduct of secret mantra is called the purity of purification practice. If it is self-nature purity, then why is it necessary? In order to dispel sudden defilements. Now, can it be purified by water and the like? The defilement of the mind is conceptual thought, by water and the like
