It possesses six qualities. Abandonment means abandoning all that should be abandoned. Perfection and expansion mean obtaining all that should be obtained. Prostration means: after joining the palms, standing before the Buddha and making this request. This refers to the manner of respectfully requesting, which is easy to understand. Having shown the manner of requesting, for what purpose is it explained? It is for the sake of the pervasive lord benefiting me and for the sake of his compassion towards me for my benefit. The pervasive lord is the Bhagavan, whose compassion equally pervades all sentient beings. Therefore, it is said to be for the sake of compassion. Benefiting me means requesting for one's own benefit. For my benefit means requesting for the benefit of others. How can I attain perfect enlightenment through the net of illusion? The net of illusion refers to the perfect enlightenment achieved through the sixteen aspects of body, speech, mind, and wisdom, each having four aspects. Below, it will be answered with "the sixteen aspects of that." Therefore, it is not elaborated here. Therefore, requesting to attain enlightenment is the purpose. Afflictions disturb the mind. Afflictions are six, five, or three. Disturbing the mind means being controlled by their habitual tendencies. Not knowing means not knowing that one's own original nature abides in the essence of the four bodies of the Buddha. Drowning in the mud means not knowing that. Sentient beings are those who abide in samsara. How are beings in samsara obscured by habitual tendencies, defilements, and adventitious things in relation to dharma, enjoyment, emanation, and wisdom body, and awakened during sleep, dreams, wakefulness, and the fourth state? In order to ripen them, obtaining the supreme fruit is the purpose of benefiting others. In order to eliminate all afflictions and abandon all ignorance. Connect it in this way. All afflictions are the six, the root afflictions, and so on. All ignorance is not knowing the suchness and the extent. Eliminating and increasing is the path. Therefore, according to the differences in thought, as it is, explain to sentient beings. The order of thought refers to the common three vehicles and, in particular, the paths of the secret mantra's inner order. Having shown the purpose in this way, where should the request be made? It should be made to the perfectly enlightened Bhagavan.

The result of which has been explained above. "The guru and teacher of beings," refers to beings dwelling in the six realms of samsara. The guru is the Buddha, the one who teaches the Dharma. "Know that great samaya," refers to first generating bodhicitta, thereby attaining the Dharmakaya for one's own benefit, and realizing benefit through the Rupakaya for the benefit of others, which is the samaya. The samaya is knowing that very truth. Or, through knowing the minds of those to be tamed. Connect "capacities and minds, please request the supreme knower to explain." The so-called capacities and minds are to teach the Dharma in accordance with the superior, middling, and inferior capacities. Having stated the object of the request, the Dharma being requested is explained: "The wisdom body of the Bhagavan, the great crown protuberance, the lord of speech, the wisdom body, the self-born, of Manjushri wisdom hero." The Bhagavan is the Buddha of the three times. His body is the wisdom body. Because it can manifest, it is like the crown protuberance of the Buddha's head, hence the Bhagavan. Please request the lord of all speech to explain that very thing. What to explain? That is the wisdom body. This body is not made of subtle particles, but of the appearance of self-awareness. If asked whether self-awareness is considered the ultimate meaning, it is not. This body transcends the nature of discriminating consciousness, is the Prajnaparamita, is coemergent and naturally luminous, is the supreme unchanging wisdom, is the primordial Buddha, is "Mahamudra" and other names. The so-called self-born is without cause, not born from means, not born from otherness. Therefore, it is the self-born body that is inseparable from means and wisdom. Therefore, it is said in the root tantra: "Yoga is not in the way of means, nor is it only wisdom, the yoga of the union of means and wisdom, thus declared the Tathagata." Thus it is. "Of Manjushri wisdom hero," refers to the fact that its nature is such. "Name is the supreme of true expression, meaning is profound, meaning is vast, meaning is great, unequaled, utterly peaceful," refers to the wisdom body of the name. The supreme of true expression is the way the body appears, it is the expression of different appearances, outer and inner. The so-called profound meaning is the unchanging wisdom. The so-called vast meaning is the three vehicles. The so-called great unequaled meaning is secret mantra.
