Liberation is that which liberates, that is, the vehicle. The three are the Hearers, the Solitary Realizers, and the Great Vehicle. A wise person is one who teaches according to the circumstances to those with superior and non-superior faculties, as just explained. "Possessing qualities and knowing qualities," regarding this, one should understand possessing and not possessing qualities through the means of treatises. Or, a treatise is understanding the meaning of one's own qualities, and through it, one should understand others as possessing qualities. "Knowing Dharma, auspiciousness, auspiciousness arises," regarding this, knowing Dharma is astrology. Therefore, if it is good, it is auspicious; if it is bad, it is inauspicious, and it should be understood conversely. Or, because one knows astrology, whatever one does is auspicious. "The auspiciousness of all auspiciousness," refers to the auspiciousness that transcends the world. Explaining this, "Auspiciousness of fame, good reputation," it is said, that auspiciousness itself is fame. "Exhaling" refers to those with wrong views and clairvoyance who also exhale through this astrology. "Great" means that having obtained power in this way, one can exhale and find rest. Being satisfied with joy and great bliss, ༄, it is called a great feast. "Great joy, great music," this is because everything is established on the Great Seal. "Respect, service, perfection," this means that because it is the basis of the perfection of gods and humans, one should enter into empowerment. "Supreme joy, name, lord, glory," regarding this, supreme joy is non-duality. Where is it? In name, lord, glory, meaning the lord of worldly auspiciousness. "Possessing the supreme, bestowing the supreme, the chief," this means that because one possesses the supreme oneself, one is able to bestow the supreme on others, which is the meaning of chief, excellent, supreme, and rich. Therefore, "The supreme of refuge, worthy of refuge," it is said that one becomes the protector of those who are fearful in this life and the next. Now, in order to show the benefits of benefiting sentient beings by adopting the conduct of an ascetic, "Great fear, enemy, the supreme of the best," and so on are said. Since it is both great fear and an enemy, it is the great fear enemy, namely, the four rivers, the four maras, the three lower realms, and the clinging to duality, these.

The enemy of 'i is asceticism. Having been liberated from those, it is called excellent, श्रेष्ठ (Sanskrit, śreṣṭha, श्रेष्ठ, most excellent), and chief. The one who eliminates all fears. This refers to the eight fears. "All" is a distinction of fears. Not even a little bit remains, it is eliminated by asceticism. Now, in order to show the actual objects of asceticism's attire, [it is said,] "Having a topknot, a crest jewel, and locks of hair." Thus and so forth has been spoken. Here, during the time of meditative equipoise, one should meditate on ornaments and attire like those of Heruka. Afterwards, having attained [accomplishment], or having gained power in the generation and completion stages and then acting, or at the time of searching for a lineage holder in the twenty-four places, one should do these things. This is called the conduct of Vajradhara Heruka. Therefore, the topknot is drawn in the shape of a wheel to the size of five finger-widths of a skull. The hairs are drawn out from its hole, which is the topknot called the general hair. On top of the wheel is a half-moon of bone.

Destroying the conceptualization of pride. "Great asceticism" means accomplishing the supreme siddhi through such asceticism. Through such conduct, inner defilements are washed away, therefore it is a pure place, that is, possessing pure conduct. Gautama is keeping the original sound, meaning "holy one" or "supreme one." Having that pure conduct is the inner Brahmin. Knowing the pure Brahma is pure and undefiled, that is, non-abiding nirvana. In order to indicate that, "nirvana" means attainment. Liberation comes from realization. Freedom comes from bondage. His second body is completely liberated from everything. Peaceful liberation is the body of detachment of the Shravakas. Peace itself is the body with attachment, that is, the body of Vajradhara. Or, Peaceful liberation is not abiding in samsara. Peace itself is not abiding in nirvana. In order to indicate that, "Nirvana, peace, nirvana." Well-gone nirvana is non-abiding nirvana, and the other is not well-gone. Now, in order to establish the characteristics of the power of wisdom and knowledge, it will be shown that "eliminating suffering and happiness reaches the extreme." Happiness is joy and supreme joy, because it is happiness itself. Suffering is separation from joy, because it is desire. Elimination is eliminating inverted conceptualizations, such as places. Reaching the extreme is co-emergent, because it is said to be the supreme end. "Reaching the extreme" is to eliminate the inverted conceptualization of separation from joy. "Transcending the body of detachment" is said, detachment is the nirvana of the Shravakas, transcending the separation from joy corresponding to it, that is, invincible, incomparable. "Invincible" means that the three joys cannot overcome. The incomparable is like the stars and the moon. Invisible means not being the object of the senses. Why? Because not appearing is not an object. Non-manifestation means not depending on other manifestations. Unchanging means permanent. If it is not permanent, it will become not the wisdom of the Buddha. "All-pervading" means without direction. "Pervader" means not being material, like space. Pervading
