That which is called "Earthly Conduct Completion Body" is what can be perceived by eyes of flesh and so on, and is similar to the three realms of existence, dreams, and illusions. Here, first, a yogi who is a beginner sees images with the eyes of flesh without clairvoyance. Then, by the power of the boundary of clairvoyance, he sees with the divine eye. Then, by the power of the boundary of detachment from desire, he sees with the Buddha eye. Then, by the power of the boundary of a Bodhisattva, he sees with the eye of wisdom. Then, by the power of the boundary of a perfectly enlightened Buddha, he sees with the eye of wisdom, liberated from all that remains. Thus it is said. Therefore, the five eyes of the Tathagata, such as flesh, are spoken of for the purpose of seeing emptiness. Other sentient beings are blind to the object of viewing emptiness, which is the definitive understanding of meditating on suchness. For a practice that is not suchness, if it is not direct perception, then inference is like a dead body. If it is not suchness, then what is examined? That is to look at drawings and so on. What is said is to look at the drawings and statues of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, or models or mandala wheels, in a definite way, which is the meaning of the practice of inferior child yogis, which is the definitive understanding of meditating on conceptual thought. The near attainment of the five nectars and so on, and water treasures, vajras, and the recitation of mantras, etc. Gathering each separately and so on, and born from the vajra lotus, with nectar, it becomes near attainment. Joy and so on, with the three vajras and the lotus taste becoming one, meditation becomes actual practice. Combining wisdom, from the yoga of the consort without transference, one will definitely achieve great accomplishment. Here, the beginner first performs the near practice of the method of accomplishment, the external five nectars are feces and so on. The sound of "etc." refers to cow gallstones and so on, eating those things to please the deity is near attainment. The internal five nectars are the five aggregates. The sound of "etc." refers to the five senses and so on, the five lamps. Not depending on those is near attainment, completely abandoning attachment to body and possessions.
