The forceful practice should be known. Here, when individually gathering and so forth, and various forms are seen on the body of emptiness, if the yogi does not bind the life-force, and the non-leaking bliss does not arise for a moment, then the yogi should forcefully become accustomed to the nada that is about to be proclaimed and practice it. For this, the yogi should straighten the body, tie a topknot on the crown of the head, keep the breath in its place, and the mind should abide in vastness. The right hand should press the little finger or the root of the sleeping pulse, keeping it still and unmoving. In this way, repeatedly count until one is not tired, and act as if it were an empty stomach and not the crown of the head. Thus, because the life-force wind flows in the central channel, the bodhicitta bindu contained within the vajra jewel abiding in the lotus of wisdom, with the bliss of the four immovable cessations, even one hundredth part of which cannot be compared, the co-emergent body's meaning is accomplished by the non-leaking momentary bliss of the same cause, and it will be seen in this life. This is the first forceful practice. The second forceful practice should be spoken of. Having equally entered into the wisdom mother, the nature of emptiness, at the time of equipoise, with the compassionate nature, the secret place of skillful means, the right-turning door, or at the very moment when the body is stiff and upright, press the root of the vajra jewel with the right hand, keep the body still, focus the mind on bliss and be upright, and join the joints of the thighs, widen the eyes, curl the toes inward, and stretch the heels outward. Both wisdom and skillful means are unmoving and unshifting, and the mind is focused on bliss and abiding. This is the second forceful practice. Now, in order to accomplish the body of emptiness, the subsequent view should be spoken of. For this, approaching and so forth have been spoken of. Here, what is called approaching is the first sign, the smoke. The yogi will see it by meditating on it for one day and one night. Illusions and so forth, both internal and external, will arise. At the beginning of that approaching, by meditating on the six-limbed application, the mind of the yogi, which is of the nature of abandoning the mind that grasps at signs such as smoke, is clear and non-conceptual.

It arises from the power of meditation. It does not arise from meditating with a mind that grasps at subject and object. There are eleven signs. The smoke is the first of these, shown as the cause of faith. The remaining ten are to make the inner and outer yoga stable and correct. These do not arise from grasping at things as real. Those signs will arise in the absence of things. Among these, to separately summarize, the first view is to be spoken. Among these, it is said to be called "the one with the wheel." The one with the wheel is to look at the four petals of the crown wheel. The term "one" is because four bindus reside, therefore it is "one." The view is the view of the wrathful one, the crown king, which is to generate four bindus on the four petals of the crown wheel above, and to always look at that bliss. Without distraction for even a moment, repeatedly look at it. Its conduct is not blinking the eyes, opening the mouth, holding the breath, grasping with attachment to reality, being separated from the object of grasping, and the breath naturally entering and abiding in the channel of the eyebrow juncture, which is the conduct of that wrathful one. Likewise, those yogis who practice and uphold should also act in this way. For yogis, in the yoga of the night, five signs will arise. In the yoga of the day, six signs will arise. The so-called yoga of the day is when the sun rises in the morning, in the clear, cloudless realm of the sky, turning one's back to the sun, facing west, abandoning the two minds of grasping and being grasped. Just as the cloudless sky is clear and bright, so too, all things are the nature of being clear and bright like the sky. Thus, the yogi's state of mind is initially like this. Afterwards, do not contemplate it with conceptual thought, but simply leave it as it is. When the sun reaches noon, keep the mouth closed and do not focus on it. Why is that? Because the eyes are struck by the sun, the eyes will become blurred and defective, the focus will not be clear, and it will become an obstacle to virtue. Afterwards
