It means "great." The reason for saying "again, thus" is that, just as the third empowerment relies on breasts and hair, this fourth empowerment also relies on the great mudra again. Or, when one wishes that the fourth empowerment be complete after the third empowerment is complete, the previous third empowerment, etc., must be repeated again, and then permission should be granted. Therefore, this is what is said. Therefore, the third empowerment itself is not the fourth empowerment. Moreover, it is said in this very tantra collected by the Bhagavan: "Also, whatever nectar is tasted and various views are seen, when wisdom is combined, the nectar migrates in the fourth instant, and what is the melting of bodhicitta." Here, regarding what is called wisdom, etc., viewing, laughing, holding hands, and embracing each other are the four empowerments, namely, the Acharya empowerment, the secret empowerment, the wisdom-gnosis empowerment, and the fourth empowerment again thus. Similarly, in Guhyasamaja and others, the vase empowerment and other empowerments are called Acharya empowerment, which is only conventional truth, not ultimate truth. Moreover, "After empowerment, he explains that nature" also explains this. The four forms of laughing, viewing, holding hands, and joining together will not become non-dual, here is the ultimate truth, that is, non-dual. What arises from the cause of karma mudra will not become non-dual wisdom. Therefore, touching the wisdom breast is the vase empowerment. Furthermore, tasting nectar and various views are the secret empowerment. The migration of nectar in the fourth instant and the melting of bodhicitta, which is said to be the wisdom-gnosis empowerment, is to guide children, therefore, all these are determined to be worldly dharmas and are pointed out as the cause of the supreme path of compassion. Furthermore, the empowerment that transcends the world is: "Whatever combines the excellent mudra of the Victorious One is the empowerment that transcends the world." The excellent Victorious One refers to Akshobhya and others, and their master is Vajrasattva. His excellent mudra is the Prajnaparamita that possesses the excellence of all forms.

Tara is the mother of all Buddhas of the past, present, and future. To abide in this is called the transcendental empowerment. What is the transcendental empowerment? It refers to abandoning the mind with defilements, as it cannot be firmly established in the karma mudra and the discernment wisdom mudra. This is what the sutras say. The cause of perfect enlightenment refers to the Vajra body adorned with the great bliss that is non-dual, not the enlightenment of Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. The so-called supreme victor refers to those other than Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, whose essence is Akshobhya and others. The birth-giving mother refers to that which gives birth to Akshobhya and others. This is the excellent mudra, which means to meditate on the cause of perfect enlightenment. This mudra completely eradicates all afflictions, making them unshakeable and immutable, and destroys all the darkness in the darkness of ignorance. Furthermore, this mudra is all-pervasive like the sky, and it is the place where beings abide freely. Also, like the sky, it abides in all beings in a way that is unobstructed, hence it is called equal to the sky. Only this mudra is what those who desire liberation should seek, hence it is called the path of yogis. Furthermore, the so-called abiding in the body refers to abiding in the bodies of all sentient beings, such as the four drops. The so-called wisdom splendor refers to the four drops and so on that abide in this way, when melted and burned by the fire of "born from the sky, self-born," it steals the sins of existence. The sins of existence refer to the outward flow of the four drops, and the fire of "born from the sky, self-born" cuts off the flow of outward flow, hence it is called stealing sins. The so-called knowing by the Wheel of Time refers to knowing yoga according to the Wheel of Time. The so-called merely the appearance of the mind refers to the fact that at any time, the appearances seen as smoke and so on should be understood as the appearance of the mind completely transformed. Therefore, it should also be known as born from one's own mind. Furthermore, all things are like the eight or twelve examples of illusion.
