I shall diminish the life-wind. In particular, of the twelve roots of the support of the life-wind, on the first leaf of the root, three signs of death obscure six months. The saying, "The month of the left will arise," means that the manner of the arising of the signs of death on the left will be like that. The saying, "With the completion of a hundred years, death will occur from the central channel," means that if a person dies after completing a hundred years, that is not a sign of death on the right or left, but it is said to have reached the limit of life. In order to show the cause, by equality and inequality. The saying, "by equality and inequality," refers to the sun on the right and left at the time of birth. The saying, "after that is born," is from the right and left themselves. The saying, "the mandala arises," refers to the signs of death. If one asks why, it is said, "Because the two sides are completely equal." It means that whichever of the right or left is equal, it arises from the other. From the right and left arise the suns of the signs of death. The two sides being properly situated, and the conduct of the right and left, and the descent of the five mandalas, otherwise it is death. It means that if the wind travels without disturbance, it will not die until it reaches a hundred years. In order to deceive that untimely death, it is said, "Having understood the characteristics of the signs of death," which means after understanding the signs of death. The saying, "life enters the bindu," means that life is the wind, and it is that which enters the central channel from the bindu. The saying, "abandoning all positions," is the name of Rahu. Position is the place. The saying, "having made it the support," means having put the wind into it. The saying, "meditate on the supreme unchanging," means that the power of the wind entering into it causes the fire to burn, but that is not the fire of the season burning. Therefore, do not abandon it, because the false bodhicitta will leak, which is the meaning of deceiving death. Whose death is deceived? In order to destroy the going to the sun and moon.
