When the wrathful deity descends, one performs the vajra dance. In Parnang (par snang), the dance is also performed by many who are bound. If laughter is produced, at that time, mixed with the syllable Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,hūṃ,hum, subduing), it is a terror to the enemy, the host of demons, and likewise, if a disciple did not know before, when the wrathful deity descends, one sings songs with sounds that cannot be understood by humans and others, which have been spoken many times in other tantras. Therefore, when the king of wrathful deities descends, one becomes shameless and fearless, because of the power of merit, which is the nature of wrath. Other deities also say, "Be pacified," if it is a deity such as Avalokiteśvara, one says, "Be pacified," which is the necessity of subduing the wrathful deity. Here, too, one should recognize the ten natures of the other ten wrathful deities by binding mudras. Whatever is generated by whatever sign, one should protect its throat and secret place, as well as the place of the Buddhas and one's own lineage, with one's own three vajras. Give yellow clothes to the body, and let the disciple whose guide has been obscured enter here. To those who practice the most excellent asceticism for mundane purposes, one should give those practitioners themselves. Here, when the disciple is blessed by the wrathful deity and others, the teacher should ask him what he wants to manifest slightly. Then, praise the flowers with the three syllables Oṃ (唵,oṃ,om,perfection), Āḥ (ཨཱཿ,āḥ,ah,unborn), and Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,hūṃ,hum, subduing), and give them to the head. Thus, one sends away the descending deity, and he will go to his own place. Thus, one sends away the descending deity, and then, in order to send away the descending deity, one should protect the head with the Buddhas. As it is said, the head is protected with the syllable Oṃ. The heart is protected with the syllable Hūṃ. The crown of the head, that is, the topknot, is protected with the syllable Haṃ (ཧཾ,haṃ,ham, emptiness), which is the means, that is, with one's own three vajras, that is, body, speech, and mind. Similarly, the navel is protected with the syllable Ho (ཧོ་,ho,ho,joy). The throat is protected with the syllable Āḥ. The secret place is protected with the syllable Ṣa (ཀྵ,ṣa,sha, great bliss), which is wisdom, that is, with one's own three vajras, that is, body, speech, and mind. Here, the object of both, the vajra of body and speech, ༄། །the object, the long syllable Hūṃ is the vajra of speech, and the short Hūṃ is the vajra of mind, others.
