It is taught correctly for the sake of obtaining, not for anything else. I prostrate to the one who possesses such characteristics. There is no perfectly complete Buddha other than the four bodies. Therefore, what are the characteristics of the four bodies? "Possessing all supreme aspects, is the characteristic of the Emanation Body." "All" refers to limbs such as the head, transcending the nature of the world, and becoming a nature without obscurations, therefore it is supreme. Also, "all supreme aspects" refers to the thirty-two major marks of a great being, etc. Whoever possesses these, possesses all supreme aspects. What is that? "The characteristic of the Emanation Body," because it manifests various things like a dream according to the minds of sentient beings, therefore it is the Emanation Body, and its essence is like that. Then, is it not the nature of transience and all things? "With various inclinations of sentient beings," the inclinations of sentient beings are attachment and non-attachment, etc. The mind with these habitual tendencies will indeed appear in that way. Sentient beings with attachment will see embracing various consorts and other forms, always possessing desire, and enjoying the five objects of desire. Those without attachment will see turning away from the five objects of desire and manifesting extreme asceticism. Therefore, the Emanation Body, which has become the nature of non-arising, is the object of the eye, which is the meaning of Body Vajra. Then, what is the nature of Speech Vajra? Explaining the characteristics of the Enjoyment Body: "All sentient beings with sound, according to the inclinations of sentient beings, whoever manifests the nature of miracles, is the Enjoyment Body." It means that for all sentient beings abiding in the six realms, with their own languages, the Dharma that corresponds to their thoughts, The eighty-four thousand collections of Dharma, with whose perfection of speech is taught, that is the Enjoyment

It is called the characteristic of the complete enjoyment body. What is the characteristic of the Dharma body, which has become the nature of the mind without obscurations? "Not impermanent, not permanent either." That is to say, since things like vases and pillars, which have become the nature of fabrication, are impermanent, they are not impermanent. Well, if it is not impermanent, then is it not permanent? "Not permanent either" means that it is not permanent like the sky at all times. If it is the nature of permanence at all times, then it will not perfectly accomplish the benefit of others, because it has not shown the eighty-four thousand aggregates of Dharma and the miracles such as appearing in the sky. Furthermore, "Not the characteristic of one or many" means that it is not one, because depending on different supports, it also becomes different. What is it then? If it is another, if one Buddha attains the Dharma body by nature, then other Buddhas will not be able to attain it later, because there is no other thing apart from it. Then is it many? "Not the characteristic of many" means that it is not endowed with many characteristics such as short, long, happiness, and suffering, because it is the nature of the only Dharma nature at all times. If it becomes endowed with many characteristics, then it will become impermanent, because happiness and suffering cannot become one. Or, if it is not the Dharma body itself, then it cannot become the collection and sum of all Buddhas, because they are separate things. Furthermore, "This is not real, not a thing" means that it is not a thing that has become the nature of earth, water, fire, and wind, because it is unconditioned and arises naturally from the sky. Then is it not a non-existent thing? "Not non-existent" means that it is not like a flower in the sky, etc., in all respects. It is not a non-existent thing, because it is the nature of experience and generates all the qualities of the Buddha that are endowed with all aspects. Furthermore, it is said to be separated from support.

The activity is: Because it is free from the relationship of the support and the supported, and transcends the state of the producer and the produced, therefore it transcends all things, and it arises from non-discrimination. What is that? The so-called Dharmakaya is the entity that has become the nature of Dharma, and because it is free from the habits of samsara, it is called mind. So, these three bodies are the co-emergent body that arises, so what is that like? "Emptiness and compassion are inseparable," which means: Emptiness, which is the essence of signs such as smoke, and compassion, which is the nature of self-aware wisdom, exist inseparably, that is the inseparability of emptiness and compassion. Also, "Attachment and detachment are completely abandoned," which means: Attachment refers to the fifteen kinds of bodily pleasures, etc., and detachment refers to the time when the bodily bindu, etc., deteriorate, and whoever abandons these two at the same time is the abandonment of attachment and detachment, which is the meaning of co-emergent bliss that has become the supreme and unchanging nature. Apart from skillful means and wisdom, there is nothing else in the ultimate sense, so what is that supreme and unchanging bliss, is it the nature of skillful means? Or is it merely the nature of wisdom? "Neither skillful means nor wisdom," which means: It is also merely the skillful means that has become the nature of self-aware wisdom, because it arises from the wisdom that has become the essence of emptiness. So, because it arises from wisdom, is it wisdom? "Not wisdom" means: It is not merely emptiness, because the form of emptiness has become the supreme and unchanging nature. What is that? "That is the body of essence," which refers to essence, which is the nature of one's own mind, and when it is free from the habits of samsara, then it is called the co-emergent body. Therefore, it is other, but not like before, because it is free from the suffering of samsara. Apart from that, there is nothing else.
