Through the power of merit, he was born as an extraordinary individual in the Brahma lineage. I am also an emanation of Manjushri, not an ordinary sentient being. Likewise, my consort is said to be an emanation of Tara. Furthermore, the Bodhisattva, the protector of the world, who is the essence of the compassion of all the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, and the abode of all transcendental qualities, is my son, named White Lotus. Thus, the Bhagavat, Manjushri, and others, having heard the words that are their very nature, like the chariot of the sun, together with their retinue, prostrated at the feet of the Bhagavat Manjushri, and praised him with contradictory adornments: "You are both old and young, the son of all the Buddhas, you are the first, the primordial Buddha." This means: Although you are old with all the qualities of the world and beyond, yet like the sky, your body is unchanging, therefore you are young. Similarly, although you are the wisdom body of all the previous Buddhas and Tathagatas, yet for the sake of taming sentient beings, you abide in the manner of a Bodhisattva. Likewise, although you engage in the mudra of action, yet you practice celibacy with immutability. Furthermore, in order to tame sentient beings who are difficult to tame, you manifest terrifying faces and hands adorned with many weapons, such as the Lord of Death, but you look upon all sentient beings with the eyes of great compassion, as if they were your only beloved child. Moreover, although you show your terrifying form to sentient beings who are difficult to tame, in reality you are of an undefiled nature. Furthermore, although you take away all fears, such as death, from all sentient beings, you destroy the maras who obstruct unsurpassed enlightenment. Furthermore, although you are liberated from the bonds of samsara, yet in order to ripen sentient beings, you manifest emanations in samsara. Furthermore, you are the guru of the Brahma sages, I

Whoever You have tamed. Furthermore, in order for all sentient beings to attain the siddhi of the Great Seal. The King of Tantras, the Bhagavan Kalachakra, is Your creation. Having destroyed the darkness of ignorance, You have become like the sun. The royal lineage, born from ninety-six million crore deities and other emanations, is worthy of homage. Therefore, O virtuous one, fearing the terrors of samsara, I take refuge in the lotus feet of Your feet. Thus it is said. In this way, together with the retinue, having praised Bhagavan Manjushri with the solar chariot. In order for sentient beings to attain unsurpassed enlightenment, having made aspirations, together with four and a half million Brahmins, the solar chariot rested in the small month of Dbying. Manifesting the siddhi of the Great Seal, thus it is said. Bhagavan Shri also, having shown the meaning of the Tantra. In order for the Bodhisattva, the Protector of the World, to compose a commentary on the Tantra, and having commanded that the Tantra be written in books. Granting auspiciousness to sentient beings ༄། །And dedicating the merit: Above, whoever causes those who dwell in the abodes of demons to be utterly terrified. On the earth, the king of the wrathful deities and asuras who dwell in the directions and regions of the world, together with his sons. Below, whoever binds the abode of the Naga King and the inauspicious stars in all places. May all of them, not knowing the times of day and night, protect all the worlds. The Kalachakra Tantra, which gathers all without exception, is the Vajrasattva, the supreme deity. The union of method and wisdom, the Vajra of the Lord of Conquerors, is the sixteen aspects. As the cause of liberation for sentient beings, the Lord of Conquerors has taught, and I have also taught. May sentient beings, through that merit, attain the unchanging supreme bliss, I prostrate to that. Thus it is said. Here, Bhagavan Shakyamuni, having become the nature of skillful means and wisdom, and having become the expression of Bhagavan Vajrasattva, and through the distinction of the four Vajras, such as the Body Vajra, the King of Tantras, the Glorious Kalachakra, which expresses the sixteen aspects of Suchness, that which was taught

Having been taught by the very one who gathers the powers, may all sentient beings, through the accumulation of merit that has been gathered, attain the state of unchanging bliss, the supreme of all. I prostrate to that very unchanging bliss. The nature of skillful means and wisdom, which expresses the supreme, unchanging bliss. The commentary on the Kalachakra, the king of tantras, called "Lotus," having been made, may all sentient beings, without exception, through whatever collection of merit I have obtained, always attain the state of unchanging bliss. The concise explanation from the chapter on wisdom of the glorious Kalachakra, the king of tantras, called "Commentary Lotus," is complete. Translated, revised, and finalized by the Kashmiri Pandit Somanatha. Difficult commentary called "Lotus".
