Secondly, perform a fire offering for the sake of peace. Then, first, the disciple offers a feast wheel to the Vajra Master. In order to invite the deities of the mandala to descend, prayers are made. Heroes, heroines, and independent mothers, those born from the three families and six lineages, together with them, offer women and possessions to the master. This should be completed before midnight, not exceeding this time. If an ignorant person acts without authorization, they will break their vows. When inviting the deities of the feast wheel to descend, the disciple should make the following vows: Offer the limbs of the body, and offer the head for the sake of prostration. From the sense faculties, offer speech for the sake of praise and truth. Likewise, from wealth and retinue, always offer one-sixth. Having made such vows, offer gifts to Vajra brothers and others. Then, at dawn, provide a feast for the Sangha. Similarly, satisfy ten-year-old boys and girls. Then, the Vajra Master invites all the deities and consorts to descend from the six chakras, such as the heart, through the gateways of breath. Then, collect the colored powders of the mandala from the four directions. Place them in crystal and other vases, then place them on elephants and other animals, and throw them into the river that flows into the ocean. Then, refill that vase with the same water. Smear the mandala with cow dung and that water. Make a round mandala on top of it, and then on top of that, satisfy ten boys and girls with sweet substances. Then, give gifts and clothes, and send them away. Thus, if someone receives empowerment for the deities of the mandala of Bhagavan Kalachakra, then they will also receive empowerment for the mandalas of other heretics. He is the teacher of all tantras, the giver of all mantras, the accomplisher of all accomplishments, the object of worship for gods and humans. Just as Bhagavan Kalachakra, just as the first Buddha, the disciples who have received empowerment should also view the master in the same way. This is what is said. From the empowerment in the King of Tantras, the Glorious Kalachakra.

From the chapter on empowerment in the commentary called "Lotus," this is a concise explanation of empowerment. Thus, according to the order of explanation, whoever obtains empowerment of the mundane and supramundane, without practice, one will not attain the siddhi of Mahamudra through the self-nature of what is to be practiced. Therefore, practice is necessary. In order to show the chapter on practice, Bodhisattva Vajrapani, considering it in his heart, made a request to the Bhagavan. With the three lines beginning with "obtain," he summarized ༄། །the meaning of what Papo requested. After hearing that, from "after hearing that" etc., until the end of the chapter, in the order that will be explained, the Bhagavan, together with his retinue, taught the practice of Kalachakra. Then, in order to explain what the nature of the body of the Bhagavan Kalachakra, who has become the nature of what is to be practiced, is like, Bodhisattva, the Protector of the World, revealed it through praise: The body of the Bhagavan is emanated from merit and wisdom, constantly for sentient beings who are difficult to tame, the form is terrifying, frightening, free from pride, seen by the wise. The voice is heard according to the thoughts of sentient beings, most supreme, all through sound shows the supreme path, to that one I pay homage. This means, I prostrate to such a one, which is beyond words. Why? Because it is free from things that are permanent and impermanent. This was explained, so-called emanated from merit and wisdom, refers to the body that is born from the accumulation of merit and the accumulation of non-dual wisdom, in order to benefit sentient beings, due to the impurity of one's own mind, residing in the charnel ground of extremely difficult to tame sentient beings, holding various weapons with many feet and many hands, adorned with ornaments such as skull garlands, surrounded by bhutas and so on, and seen as an extremely terrifying nature. For fortunate sentient beings, so-called free from pride, refers to co-emergent

It is seen as becoming the nature of the four bodies, such as the body, and as the nature of peace. For example, very clear water is seen by all fish as a dwelling place, people see it as the essence of water, and hungry ghosts see it as the nature of pus, etc. Likewise, ordinary sentient beings see the body of the Blessed One with a definite face, etc. If analyzed with ultimate wisdom, the body of the Blessed One does not have a face, etc. What is the reason? Because it changes differently according to the thoughts of sentient beings. Similarly, possessing hands and feet everywhere, possessing eyes, head, and face everywhere, hearing from all worlds, abiding pervading all. This is said to be from that cause. Because of that cause, it is the nature of emptiness and compassion inseparable, and it is the knower of the nature of all things, not the nature of the ephemeral and material. Similarly, what is his speech like? Speech is the most excellent of hearing because of the love of sentient beings. Here, from beginningless samsara, the thoughts of sentient beings are countless, such as the agent and the grasping of self. The Blessed One also exists in accordance with this, like a person carrying a load of clay, not saying what is permanent, nor saying what is impermanent. Therefore, it is also known as the characteristic of unsurpassed enlightenment, so it is called the most excellent of hearing. What is the reason for that? Just as in a dream state, the things seen are neither existent nor non-existent, so should the characteristic of unsurpassed enlightenment be known. Furthermore, what is that speech like? Speaking in all languages means that all sentient beings are shown in their own languages. What is shown? The sacred path, which exists at all times with an unchanging essence, is sacred because it is special, and it is the path because it reaches the desired things. The entity inseparable from emptiness and compassion is called the sacred path. At all times, that is the unsurpassed enlightenment.
