and the wish-fulfilling jewel accomplishes the purpose for sentient beings. If that is the case, why haven't sentient beings yet accomplished the goals of this world and beyond? Here, the reason why the goals of sentient beings are not accomplished is that the mind is impure, and not for any other reason. If goals are not accomplished because the mind is impure, then the Buddhas are unnecessary. To explain this, it is shown that the Buddha residing in sentient beings is not seen because of the sinful mind and the karma of unwholesome results. This means that due to the unwholesome deeds of previous lives, the Blessed One residing in one's own mind cannot be seen, just as people without eyes cannot see the sun. Just as there is no fault in the sun, so it should be understood with the Buddhas. Therefore, in all ways, the Buddhas are unnecessary for sentient beings who do not have the fortune. Similarly, for sentient beings who have fortune, if their own mind becomes pure, it will become the nature of the Buddhas themselves. In order to attain the nature of the Buddhas, there is no need for other Buddhas residing outside. Therefore, it is explained: If the mind becomes pure, then that person becomes victorious, what need is there for other victors? This means, what is the nature of the Buddhas themselves? "Arising" and so on means, for example, the cause from which a sprout arises, that cause decays in order to produce the sprout. If that cause decays without producing a sprout, then the sprout will not arise, because there is no cause. Or, if it arises from an undecayed cause, then there is no difference between the seed and the sprout, because the nature does not change. It is not like that either. If it does not arise from a decayed cause, and it does not arise from an undecayed cause, then what is the relationship between cause and effect? "Whatever was previously a thing, for another cause..." This phrase means that the nature itself does not arise. Here, whatever is the seed, that is not the sprout, because the state changes. Apart from the seed,

If the sprout does not arise, it is because it lacks other causes. Similarly, it is not from itself, nor from others, nor from both, nor without cause. Any phenomena that have arisen will never exist. Thus it is said. Because of that reason, the Tathagata Bhagavan, from emptiness, appears in the manner of great bliss, and similarly, passes away by that very nature. What is that moment of bliss? The abiding in bliss, the subsequent arising of bliss, in that instant, other things that arise simultaneously do not subsequently arise. This means that it is the moment of bliss that arises simultaneously and is supremely unchanging, and it is not the nature of matter and so on. Furthermore, if the aggregates that have become the nature of matter and suffering and so on are pierced by the bliss that arises simultaneously, then they become the nature of bliss that is supremely unchanging. The aggregates that have become the nature of bliss that is supremely unchanging also generate the body that arises simultaneously. From that body that arises simultaneously, the Dharmakaya, the Sambhogakaya, and the Nirmanakaya arise, and it should be known that from the Nirmanakaya, it arises again in the same way. Then, if from the body that arises simultaneously and has become the nature of bliss that is supremely unchanging, the Dharmakaya and so on, which do not grasp any phenomena, arise, then will the cause and effect not become different? For example, just as sprouts and so on arise from rice. It should be said thus: From the seed, like roots, branches, flowers, and fruits, arise from pure soil. This means that, for example, after sowing seeds of rice and so on in pure soil, due to the power of time, they become the nature of sprouts and so on. After becoming sprouts and so on, fruits arise from the outside like seeds, similarly, from the body that arises simultaneously, ༄. The arising of the Dharmakaya and so on is established without fault. Then, if the body that arises simultaneously is the nature of bliss that is supremely unchanging, then it cannot be obtained without relying on a basis, any basis and that which relies on it

It becomes the nature itself. If asked, "Since it is separated from the support, will it not become impermanent?" The answer is: like earth, water, and so on. Here, the objects such as earth are the nature of smell, form, taste, touch, and sound. Among them, earth is the nature of five qualities, water has four qualities, fire has three, wind has two, and space becomes the nature of only the quality of sound. Earth and so on become the body of people with such a nature, and the Bodhicitta, which becomes the nature of bliss, is also the same. Becoming the nature of merit is the bliss of the gods who enjoy in the desire realm. The gods in the form realm are the body and bliss that become the nature of three qualities. The formless gods are the nature of only the habits of the mind, and the body that becomes the nature of only the quality of sound, it should be known as bliss. Thus, according to the order of speaking, when those elements such as earth transcend the habits of samsara, at that time, they become the support of the body that is fully endowed with all aspects and born together. Furthermore, wherever one object exists, other objects should be known to arise from there due to interdependence. Therefore, smell arises from the nature of earth, and form arises from the essence of observation. Thus, according to the order, form arises from water, taste arises from fire, touch arises from wind, and sound arises from space. This is the majority of the production, and a small part produces smell and so on. In addition, the distinctions of aggregates, elements, and so on, as well as objects and subjects.
