Thus, it became relying on the path of the perfectly complete Buddha. For the Yogacharas, there is also attachment to consciousness; those who speak of consciousness-only believe that all three realms are merely consciousness. Because it is a part of a six-part whole, the so-called atom does not exist. Just as in a dream state, even without the substance of atoms, the mere appearance of the mind can accomplish things, similarly, in the waking state, things that are not real appear as real, like hairs falling and golden conches seen by eyes afflicted with cataracts. Therefore, when inquiring about the true nature, the Blessed One, knowing their thoughts, said: These three realms are only consciousness; there is no other samsara apart from consciousness. When worldly consciousness ceases, the seeds of existence also cease; therefore, it is nirvana. This is the truth: happiness and suffering arise from the non-material, not from the material. What is called happiness and suffering is samsara; the absence of them is nirvana. Having heard the words of the Blessed One, they abandoned the notions of a doer and a self, and became Buddhist Yogacharas. Furthermore, after bodhisattvas heard the teachings on the transcendent Dharma, they abandoned the doctrine of consciousness-only, and some relied on the path of the perfectly complete Buddha. Similarly, in the tantras of the Yoginis, it is said: "Great illusion, extremely wrathful, the one who manifests and gathers." Thus, due to the thoughts of sentient beings, the Dharma taught by the Blessed One is not merely a limited sound born from the throat, palate, crown of the head, teeth, and lips of the Blessed One, but because it is the language of limitless and boundless sentient beings. If here, with limited speech, one were to teach the Dharma simultaneously to limitless and boundless sentient beings in their respective languages, it would not be possible even after limitless eons. Therefore,

Due to the thought of the earth realm, it will not become the teaching of the Bhagavan, and due to the thought of sentient beings, the Bhagavan will also become attached, etc., because attachment to attachment becomes a cycle of rebirth. Therefore, the rebirth of sentient beings, by the power of other habitual tendencies, just like a body not born in a dream, will become the appearance of the Bhagavan's body and speech. Just as in a dream, disciples see the Khenpo and ask about their doubts, and the Khenpo also dispels the disciples' doubts, but there is no Khenpo there, it is the manifestation of the disciples' mind's habitual tendencies. Similarly, sentient beings with merit are the manifestation of their own minds, the Bhagavan is neither born nor dies. For this reason, by the power of the habitual tendencies of the four Buddhas, the Bhagavan, to those who say there is a person, taught the contemplation of the impermanence of the person. To those who say there are things, he taught the contemplation of the exhaustion of earth, etc., to those who say there is consciousness, he taught the samadhi of consciousness only, and to the Madhyamikas, he taught the wisdom of dream-like unchanging and non-duality, thus there is no self of the person and no self of phenomena. The Vaibhashikas and Sautrantikas, as well as the Yogacharas, have nirvana with remainder. The Madhyamikas have nirvana without remainder, which does not abide, because the cause and effect are exhausted, just like deep sleep and the state of waking are separated, like a dream and the fourth. The Bhagavan, in the praise of the wisdom of individual realization, spoke in ten verses as follows: Freed from all remnants, well-abiding on the path of the sky, holding the great wish-fulfilling jewel, is the supreme of all precious lords. Therefore, liberation from partiality and nirvana without remainder is that of the perfectly complete Buddha.

Without reason. The appearance of non-materiality cannot be seen, like the image in a mirror. At this time, the yogi's meditative appearance also becomes twofold, like the moon in water; if there is a dharma, then there are all dharmas. At that time, the yogi, in the absence of material dharmas, like a dream, the non-material dharma, not to be examined, not born, not empty, not mind, is seen in the sky; this is not well-known, because if there is a dharma, it is for the sake of distinguishing the dharmas. Like an illusion, the Tathagata's teachings, in the absence of material dharmas, the appearance of non-materiality cannot be seen through samadhi; here, some may have thoughts. Therefore, it should be stated. Here, what should be stated by those who are very fond of the habits of the material mind? In the state of awakening, in the absence of material dharmas, the appearance of non-materiality cannot be seen; this is not happiness, because in a polished mirror, in the absence of material dharmas, the true appearance of non-materiality is seen. Just as a young woman, in a polished mirror, through the power of mantras and the blessings of the gods, the non-materiality of the dharmas of the past, future, and present appears; the material dharmas of the past, future, and present do not appear in the mirror, and without those material dharmas, there is no non-material appearance in the mirror, and those dharmas are not thought of by the young woman. Similarly, the yogi, through the power of the blessings of his own mind, in the realm of space, without the material three realms, sees the appearance of non-materiality. The Blessed One spoke in the one hundred and ninety-eighth verse from the chapter on sadhana: The mudra is in accordance with illusion, in mind and space, like images in mirrors. It illuminates the three worlds, is stainless, and emits countless rays of light like lightning. Without distinction between outside and body, separate from object and form, only appearance abides in the sky.
