The aggregate of elements refers to the primary substance of the collection of minute particles, which combines with all ordinary substances, for the sake of the arising of all things. Beings thus transform into the karmic nature of consciousness, and whatever is fully filled with various jewels belongs to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Now, the power of beings' karma is explained as follows: On the earth, wish-fulfilling trees and tastes, as well as the श्रेष्ठ श्रेष्ठ (Sanskrit श्रेष्ठ, Romanized Sanskrit śreṣṭha, literal Chinese meaning: best) taste, and the other powers of medicine and divine tastes. All the minute particles that eliminate diseases are fully produced, but these beings cannot see them due to the power of non-virtue, and only see ordinary grass, trees, water, dust, stones, and iron. Hungry ghosts see water in rivers and other places as being of a burning nature. People who have fallen into hell see spears and other things that cut and pierce due to the power of sin. Now, the emanations of the Buddha are explained, these and so on, in order to liberate these beings, at the time when merit arises, the lord of victors together with the sons, that is, the Buddha Bhagavan together with the Bodhisattvas, enters the place of activity. In order to tame beings, he manifests taking birth in the womb, and with supreme compassion generates Bodhicitta. Having conquered afflictions and the armies of demons, he turns the wheel of Dharma in the place on the earth. Having manifested illusion, again the Bhagavan, with a pure body, the Tathagata is just as he came. Thus, the illusion of the Buddha's emanation and the nature of Nirvana appear due to the power of beings' merit and non-merit, this is certain. From this verse, the other seven verses are easy to understand. Now, the characteristics of great taste and so on are explained, that is, combustible things and so on. Here, མཱ་ཀྵི་ཀ་ (Tibetan, Sanskrit, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning) is the great taste and the nature of earth. The word "དང་" indicates great taste. Immaculate is the nature of water, ཏུད་ཐ་ཀ་ (Tibetan, Sanskrit, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning) is the nature of fire, shaking is the nature of wind, རས་ཀ་ (Tibetan, Sanskrit, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning) is the nature of emptiness, and the hare and cinnabar are wisdom.

The nature of the earth element is the seven great tastes. Then there are the nearby tastes: "Kashi" (kāśi) is equality, which is the nature of the wisdom element; "Kashis" (kāśis) is the nature of the space element; "Muzi" (mu zi) is the nature of the wind element; "Dongro" (ldong ros) is the nature of fire; "Wabula" (ba bla) is the nature of water; and "Tsa" (btsag) is the nature of earth. These are the six nearby tastes. Then there are the five salts: Zeche, that which comes from the ocean, ginger salt, Karutsa, and stove salt, which are respectively the natures of earth and so on. Then there are the five transforming agents: Nawa Sara, Yawa Shara, Sada Jika Shara, Tsa, and the transforming agents of Katse salt, which are the natures of space and so on, being cold. Then there are the five waters: stone water is the nature of earth, moon water is the nature of water, hot water is the nature of fire, poison water is the nature of wind, and curved knife water is the nature of space. These also have three aspects: the curved knife of touch, the curved knife of shadow, and the curved knife of sound, which are for cutting off the practitioner. Then there are the five poisons: yellow orpiment is the nature of the earth element, Shagatu Ka is the nature of water, horned is the nature of fire, black poison is the nature of wind, and black accumulation is the nature of emptiness. The other nearby poisons are five in number, which should be known: Vajradhara is the nature of earth, Arka is the nature of water, Dhatura is the nature of fire, Langali is the nature of wind, and Karavera is the nature of emptiness. Here, the field stones on the earth, as well as the various essences of life, the various shapes of fruits, and the various shapes of conches and so on, these are also sixfold, because from those elements, iron transforms into six forms. Some transform into gold, and similarly, others transform into silver and so on. That which is born from Lhangtser is fourfold, that is, the yellow Lhangtser iron is the nature of earth, the white is the nature of water, the red is the nature of fire, and the black is the nature of wind, and similarly, sky iron is also like that. Similarly, the iron of the lodestone, that which rotates is the nature of wind, that which unites is the nature of earth, and that which leads is
