Fifth, Explanation of the Wisdom Chapter. Fifth, Explanation of the Wisdom Chapter. First, a great summary of the Yoga Tantra and other expansions. Homage to glorious Kalachakra! Shakyamuni, who arose from the mind through the power of wisdom and awareness, drawn from the vajra, became his own forehead and the great vajra crown. With the form-possessing, stainless emptiness and the formless, excellent compassion, he is the teacher of gods, humans, asuras, and nagas, the sole teacher of all gurus, I prostrate to him! He has no cause or characteristics, no movement, and no sequence, is the manifestation of Kalachakra, I pay homage to this non-duality. From the letters "ka" and so on, emanated the four bodies of perfect enjoyment, excellent dharma, and purity, is the first Buddha, without distinction, I bow my head to the Tathagata. Predicted by the Sugata, and urged by Manjushri, for the sake of the merit and wisdom of the sages and all beings, I, White Lotus, will write the extensive commentary on the glorious Wisdom Chapter, the emanation of the Lord of the World. Question: In the south of the glorious city of Kalapa, in the pleasure garden of Malaya, at the end of the eastern gate of the glorious Kalachakra mandala palace, on the precious portico, seated on a great precious lion throne, the emanation of Manjushri, the sage Drakpa Tsongpa, king of men, being requested by the sun chariot, from the supreme first Buddha, Chandrabhadra requested the Wisdom Chapter, and the Tathagata's reply, spoken in the first verse: The principal sadhana, including the supreme Victor, which you have spoken, I know a little. In order to hear again, the teacher of gods and humans, the mandala and so on, with the divisions of the elements, the six families of the Buddhas and yoginis, abiding in the vowels and consonants. Having heard the words of Chandrabhadra, the lord of the victors spoke of the mandala and so on with the divisions of the elements. This is the first verse,

From the Buddha, Chandra Bhadra inquired, and the Tathagata answered. Manjushri, relying on meaning, has well gathered it, and it should be revealed by a detailed explanation. The chief one, etc., in this chapter on sadhana, whichever chief one is the sadhana of the Kalachakra, the Tathagata and his retinue, whatever you have said, I have slightly understood, therefore I should listen again. O! Teacher of gods and men, Shakyamuni, the distinctions of the elements in the body, such as the purity of the elements like bones, the mandala of the Kalachakra, and the six families of other Buddhas, should be listened to, namely, those who dwell in Ali and Kali. Those who dwell in vowels such as the letter A, and those who dwell in consonants such as the letter Ka, are those who will be spoken of. Likewise, those yoginis are those of speech, the six families of the six aggregates are like that, and the six elements also dwell in A, etc., and Ka, etc. Having heard the words of Chandra Bhadra, after that, the lord of the victors, namely, the nature of the four bodies such as co-emergence, is also the pure aggregate without obscurations. The lord of those is the perfect Buddha who gives birth, that is, the first Buddha. The distinctions of the elements, such as the mandala, etc., are said to be those who will be spoken of, such as the six families, etc., and the relationship between the teacher and the questioner. In this verse, Chandra Bhadra asks the question with three lines. From the fourth line onwards, until the end of the chapter, it is the Tathagata's answer. There is no further questioner in this tantra, that is certain. Now, because of the purity of the elements, the purity of the mandala is spoken of, namely, the pillars, etc., etc. Here, the bones of the body are used for the body, and the pillars are made for the body mandala, namely, observation. Likewise, the vajra garland and the surroundings of the earth, and the walls are also made of bones, namely, the three verses are connected. The pure one, here, crushed powder, etc., is poured into the paint.

It should be drawn. The phrase "with flesh, blood, water, and excrement" means that with pure flesh, a mandala of deities is drawn in the east. With pure blood, a mandala of Yama is drawn in the south. With pure water, a mandala of wealth deities is drawn in the north. With pure excrement, other mandalas are drawn in the west. In the center, a mandala is drawn with pure semen. Wherever the sixth mandala is, a mandala is drawn with pure ashes. Thus, the Tathagatas and others are purified, in order, by Amoghasiddhi, Ratnasambhava, Amitabha, Vairochana, Akshobhya, and Vajrasattva, the six deities. The term "bile" refers to drawing the sun seats and others with the element of bile, and the moon seats with the element of phlegm, also known as the rabbit of the sun. The term "water veins" refers to the aquatic beings beneath the seats of the sun and moon. The term "fivefold wall lines" refers to the first line being purified by the earth-born thumb. The second line is purified by the water-born index finger. The third line is purified by the fire-born middle finger. The fourth line is purified by the wind-born ring finger. The fifth line is purified by the space-born little finger. Thus, in the mandala's field, make the lines of the fivefold wall. The phrase "with the pulse of time, the water-born of the main deity" means purifying the lotus of the main deity with Avadhuti (अवाधूत, avadhūta, the purified one). The phrase "the rest with Lalana, Nalana, etc." refers to the ultimate of the seventy-two thousand channels. The term "water veins, etc." is definitive. The phrase "the moving wheel of fire, etc., with skin, etc." means that here, the wheel of wind is with skin. The wheel of fire is with the element of blood and heat. The wheel of water is with ashes. The phrase "sun doors, etc." refers to the twelve doors, the twelve orifices: two for the ears, two for the nose, two for the eyes, one for the mouth, the orifices for urine, feces, three for semen, and two for the breasts. Thus, the twelve orifices, purified by the twelve orifices, are made in the mandala's field. In the mandala.
