Entering fire, one will not be burned. One can stiffen a maddened elephant king, and will not be killed by a maddened elephant king. One can ride lions and tigers, and will not be destroyed by lions and tigers. One can enter a river that crows drink from, and will not be carried away by the river's current. One can eat poison, and will not faint from poison. One can eat swords and other weapons, and the weapons will not cut the mouth. Similarly, one can do what is edible and what is not edible, and can completely transform one's own and others' forms. Such actions of a yogi are not for beginners to do. The Blessed One spoke of thirteen types of yogis: the yogi who first generates the mind, the one who later becomes a child, the one who becomes a youth, the beginner, the one born into a family of yoga practitioners, the one with complete application, the one with complete intention, the non-returner, the one who has received empowerment, and the one who is bound by one lifetime. Then the Bodhisattva will attain the ten powers: power over life, power over karma, power over resources, power over aspiration, power over vows, power over Dharma, power over mind, power over birth, power over miraculous powers, and power over wisdom. Similarly, the ten bhumis: the Joyful, the Stainless, the Luminous, the Radiant, the Very Difficult to Conquer, the Manifest, the Far-Reaching, the Immovable, the Good Intelligence, and the Cloud of Dharma. Similarly, the ten perfections will be completely fulfilled: the perfection of generosity, the perfection of ethics, the perfection of patience, the perfection of diligence, the perfection of meditation, the perfection of wisdom, the perfection of skillful means, the perfection of vows, the perfection of strength, and the perfection of knowledge. Thus, a yogi becomes a Bodhisattva. The Blessed One, in the Praise of the Utterly Pure Realm of Dharma from the True Name Sutra, spoke in the third and fourth verses: Having attained the ten perfections, abiding in the ten perfections, pure in the ten perfections.

E! The aspects of the ten perfections, are the lords of the ten bhumis. Those who abide in the ten bhumis, are those who possess the nature of the ten pure knowledges. They are the holders of the ten pure knowledges. Therefore, the yogi whose mind is completely pure, the Bhagavan said is a Bodhisattva. Here, in the mantra vehicle, some people, through the stages of heroes or the stages of self-blessing, enter the great charnel ground at night, and after one year, two years, or twelve years, through the power of mantra recitation, fire offerings, and meditation, they are unable to directly visualize deities such as the Bhagavan Heruka, as well as mountains, gardens, confluences of rivers, and seashores, etc., in places devoid of people, for the sake of themselves and others. Those who have become weak in diligence, and in the field of activities, in their own homes, they practice mantra recitation, fire offerings, torma offerings, meditation, and mandalas, etc., and because of inappropriate places and times, the deities of the mantras are not accomplished, and their minds are not free from attachment. Likewise, those who have degenerated from the path of meditating on the great seal of complete purity, those evil gurus who are separated from the oral instructions of the noble lamas and have fallen into great transgressions, to those who do not thoroughly examine the profound and vast Dharma with the minds of children, the Prajnaparamita will be taught, as follows: The Bhagavan Tathagata said in the Prajnaparamita that all dharmas are without discrimination, all dharmas are emptiness, all dharmas are without characteristics, all dharmas are without aspirations, all dharmas are free from conditioning, all dharmas are free from birth, all dharmas are without change, all dharmas are empty of essence, and all dharmas are inconceivable. Therefore, in order to attain the fruit of omniscience, Bodhisattva Mahasattvas should meditate on all dharmas without dependence, not abiding in form, not in feeling, not in perception, not in formation, not in consciousness. Not abiding in the earth element, not abiding in the water element.
