Is, when offering is made while staying at home, at that time, one will become disrespectful to the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, thus. Consecration of temples, etc., should always be done by those with signs. If there are three in one place, it should not be done by a householder wearing white clothes. Thus, after examining the Acharya in various ways, one should rely on the master and disciples spoken of by the Blessed One, and the determination mentioned earlier is for the sake of abandoning those with faults. Likewise, it has also been said in the merits, like this: One who is stable, gentle, and intelligent, patient, upright, and without deceit, knows the union of mantras and tantras, possesses compassion and is proficient in treatises. Those ten should all be known, skilled in the matter of inquiring about mandalas, the Acharya who expounds secret mantras, possesses the virtues of the past, power, and subduing, and so on. However, if there are words spoken by other verses, why not discern them well? The words such as "one who has attained the supreme empowerment" are understood by the wise through the ultimate truth and the conventional truth, that is, through the definitive meaning and the provisional meaning. Among them, the definitive meaning is temporarily explained. Here, the supreme great seal of the vase empowerment, secret empowerment, and wisdom-wisdom empowerment, the Prajnaparamita, the last of the moments of the unchanging great bliss, the nature of manifest complete enlightenment, is unbreakable, that is, the one attained by the Blessed One under the Bodhi tree, that is, the one who has attained the supreme empowerment. Who is for what, that is, body, speech, and mind are inseparable, therefore it is the Vajra Acharya, that is, the Tathagata Shakyamuni. In these three realms, for the benefit of sentient beings, whoever's body, speech, and mind are inseparable, acts like a vajra, that is the Vajra Acharya, the universally departed, that is the all-knowing one. Among them, again, the Tathagatas. Those who dwell in the ten directions of the world, etc., here in the ten directions, all the Bodhisattvas, their crests, the nature of the seven jewels, in the definitive sense, are called the world, and in those crests, all the Tathagata lineages.

Those who abide with the nature of hand seals are the beings residing in the ten directions of the world. Those Bodhisattvas also come in the three times of past, present and future, and prostrate to the Buddha Bhagavan. When they prostrate, the Tathagatas and aggregates residing in the crown also prostrate to the Tathagata. This is the definitive meaning of the Bhagavan. Similarly, after close examination, the provisional meaning should be explained. Here, because it is said that "just like the external world, there are various kinds in the body," the word "world" refers to the bodies of the disciples residing in the ten directions, the lower ones are those residing in the earth houses, and the upper ones are those residing in the three-story buildings and so on. The five aggregates reside in them, and they are called Tathagatas. Thus, they are the beings residing in the world. Those disciples also come in three sessions and prostrate to the Lama, and when they prostrate, the five aggregates also prostrate to the Lama, which is the provisional meaning. Here, the monks who observe the charnel ground practice should prostrate to the Vajra Master in three sessions. For lay people and novices, it is not like that except for teaching the Dharma. For example: In order to avoid worldly slander, the Dharma and so on should be placed in front, and the ascetic should prostrate with wisdom to the lay people or novices. Similarly, abandoning non-supreme actions and prostrations, laying out mats and standing up, and doing services such as offerings here, all should be done by the ascetic. Here, if lay people or novices are also equal to the Vajra Master of the monks, then what should be done? Abandoning non-supreme actions such as washing feet, and prostrating with five limbs, when the Lama comes to his own residence, he should make offerings with wealth and so on. At the time of teaching, in order to avoid worldly slander, the Dharma and so on should be placed in front and prostrated to. The worldly slander mentioned here refers to the fact that whether they are lay people or novices, they do not hold the signs of the superiors due to laziness, so they have not heard and fully understood the Pratimoksha vows.
