Oṃ, this is certain. Similarly, all the lands, etc., should again be purified on one's own body, like all sentient beings such as humans, which is the determination of the form of the mandala. Similarly, other purification methods spoken of in the root tantra should also be explained. Here, what dwells in the heart of all sentient beings is wisdom. That is also the indestructible sound, which is the nature of nāda at all times. Therefore, the mandala of the wheel of the heart is taken as the center. There, taking half the measure between the throat and the navel, possessing half the measure and the twelvefold nature, it should be made into the mandala of the Bhagavan's mind. From the throat to the end of the navel, possessing the nature of twenty-five measures, it should be made into the mandala of speech. From the space between the eyebrows to the end of the hairline, possessing the nature of fifty measures, it should be made into the mandala of body. Among these, the four doors of the body are the anus, urine, semen, and the aperture of the crown of the head. The doors of the mandala of speech are Lalanā, Rasanā, Avadhūtī, and the conch-shell woman, etc., at the junction of the throat and the navel. The doors of the mandala of mind are the natures of waking, dreaming, deep sleep, and the fourth, etc. Thus, the mandala of body, speech, and mind, possessing the nature of twelve doors, is the supreme primordial Buddha, possessing a part of one-sixteenth of the moon, just as the external environment is, so is the body, and so are others. Having known the three types of mandalas, the acharya should draw the mandala, which is completely certain. The two verses, beginning with 'two and one water-treasure,' etc., have already been spoken together when drawing the lines. Now, beginning with the syllable 'Oṃ,' etc., the mantras of the deities of the mandala and the symbols of the mudras are explained. Here, among all the kings of tantras, for the mandala of colored powders, the syllable Oṃ is the body vajra, and by this the mandala is perfected, that is, the syllable Oṃ arises from wisdom, so it is said. Therefore, the king of the mandala arising from the syllable Oṃ, the supreme lotus, that is, in the twenty-four lotuses, the seats of the moon and the sun, are by the division of the year, that is, by the division of the twelve fish as the seats of the moon.

And the distinction of the twelve emptinesses, the seats of the sun are due to the complete purity of skillful means and wisdom. Above, that is, above the navel wheel, the seats of the moon and sun that abide, A, etc. (Tibetan: ཨ་སོགས།, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A, etc.) refers to vowels such as the letter A, and Ka, etc. (Tibetan: ཀ་སོགས།, Sanskrit Devanagari: क, Sanskrit Romanization: ka, Chinese literal meaning: Ka, etc.) refers to consonants such as the letter Ka. Those who are combined with emptiness, that is, those who are combined with bindu and severance, together with the mother who gives rise to the three existences, the nature of all aspects of emptiness, the nature of Nada (Tibetan: ནཱ་ད།, Sanskrit Devanagari: नाद, Sanskrit Romanization: nāda, Chinese literal meaning: Nada), that is, above the bindu, that is, the mother who gives rise to the three realms, the indestructible sound, called the Prajnaparamita Mother, is the mother who gives rise to the Buddhas, relying on the ultimate truth. The mantras of A, etc. and Ka, etc. combined with emptiness should be placed at the beginning of all mantras. Therefore, it should be recited together with them. Similarly, the Bhagavan also abides in that great bliss nature. Now, starting from emptiness, etc., it is said that the Dharma of reciting the mantras of body, etc. arises from the five emptinesses. Emptiness is the left limb of the mantra mentioned in the first chapter, followed by anusvara, two A's in the east and west, two severances of bindu in the southern limb, and the supreme devoid of vowels, that is, the indestructible vowel-less Ha, from which body, speech, mind, and wisdom vajra truly arise. Among them, first of all, the arising of the body should be spoken of. Here, first is anusvara, then the letter A, and in the middle of the two is severance, and after anusvara is the long A. Thus, by uttering the long vowel, one can obtain the previous maternal nature of anusvara. By uttering the mother vowel, severance is emitted from the letter A, becoming the letter U, and then the letter A becomes a quality, which is the letter O. Then, according to the characteristics of the definition, because there is a missing letter, the mother letter must be separated and the long A removed. Thus, the Om letter, which is the nature of the three qualities, is the body vajra, A-Um, which is spoken of from the ultimate achievement of self and other. Now the speech vajra is to be spoken of, here is the previous and the later.
