Thus it is said. 'Being afflicted by elements' means being seized by elemental spirits and the like. If one inhales the immovable one with the three heats, it will bestow happiness. Even after being eaten, it will bring happiness even if eaten by a snake. Diseases of the mouth and the like will be quickly pacified. Now, for the purpose of increasing life, the combination of the five elixirs is taught through 'feces' and the like. Here, as it is said, 'As the external, so is the body,' therefore, combining the five external substances with the five internal substances is the combination of the five elixirs. By consuming these five elixirs, life will be bestowed upon the yogis. Externally, the word 'feces' refers to the all-illuminating, powerful essence of strength, which is called rock candy. Internally, it is feces itself, and these are equal parts. Urine, externally, refers to the all-pervading lord of men, the semen of bhṛṃgarājā (藏文，梵文天城体，bhṛṃgarājā，自在者). Internally, it is urine itself. Blood, externally, refers to saffron. Internally, it is the flower of women, and these are equal parts. Semen, externally, refers to mercury. Internally, it is semen itself, and these are equal parts. Human flesh, externally, refers to the three fruits. Internally, it is the leg, and these are also equal parts. Thus, feces is one part, and the meat and leg are slightly less, blood is half a part, and semen is one part. These are mixed together and stirred with urine seven times, and then repeatedly dried in the sun. Then, if one eats about two servings of butter and honey each day, life will be bestowed within six months. Abstaining from leaves, sour foods, sesame oil, salt, and sexual intercourse with women is the essence of the five elixirs. Now, through 'with contemplation' and the like, the inhalation of flowers is taught. Here, contemplation is the complete insertion of life force into the central channel, and that which is accompanied by this contemplation is called 'with contemplation.' The flower is the रजस् (Sanskrit) of women. Externally, it refers to the king of hair, bhṛṃgarājā (藏文，梵文天城体，bhṛṃgarājā，发王), whose semen is equal to the flower of women. If one inhales the flower while in a state of contemplation, the gray hair and aging of those who are with contemplation, as well as bodily ailments, will be removed within six months, and this is the essence of inhalation. What pacifies wind is salt, sourness, etc., which will become very strong. Sweet and astringent substances are the enemy of bile. What pacifies phlegm is all bitterness and three pungencies, that is, medicines or juices, which are achieved by eating and drinking. What pacifies phlegm is goat's milk and three pungencies, buffalo milk and sugar are the enemy of bile. What pacifies wind is nanny goat's milk and rock salt. These three kinds of milk that eliminate diseases, like numbers, combined with rock salt, etc., can pacify wind, bile, and phlegm. Likewise, ghee, that is, cow's ghee, can pacify the three diseases of all those who are free from plague, that is certain. Now, in order to pacify diseases of the mouth, etc., what is said is boiled sesame oil, etc., that is, nutmeg, etc. Here, all water is eight times the substance. Eight times the water of nutmeg petals, in the remaining quarter, use the water of nutmeg boiled juice, slightly warm, to pacify mouth diseases, even toothache. Sesame oil is sesame oil from sesame. The water of the substance is sheep urine, the same as it, the residue of boiled sesame oil, after adding a mixture of three pungencies and a quarter of rock salt, is given at the end of coloring. Pouring it into the ears will pacify the diseases of the ears. Likewise, ghee is cow's ghee, boiled with eight times the milk, at the end, add dragon brain incense, saffron, and red saffron, giving a quarter proportion. Inhaling this ghee will pacify the diseases of the nose. Karkoti, that is, Bandhakarakoti and Langali, and Indra, that is, Indravaruni, bitter and donkey urine applied together can eliminate smallpox.
