Refutation: The nature of the two will not become the result, because they are mutually contradictory. Whatever exists is not non-existent, and whatever does not exist is not existent, because of contradiction. Therefore, from the cause arises the effect, and the effect does not exist, and the effect exists and does not exist, will not happen, thus it is established. Someone says: Here, if the cause is blocked, the effect will also be blocked. Because both are blocked, everything is established as non-existent. Refutation: Here, everything is not non-existent, because it depends on others. Here, the cause's causality is established by relying on the effect, and the effect also relies on the cause. Thus, because of relying on others, both will become causes. Because both are causes, there is no effect, because without the effect there is no cause. The cause depends on the effect, so it will become uncertain, and because it is uncertain, it will become a non-cause. Therefore, all causes such as Ishvara are established as uncertain and non-causes. Someone says: Cause and effect are not established by dependence, whatever is the cause is the cause, and whatever is the effect is the effect. Refutation: Here, it is established from your wish, not from my wish, which is very unreasonable. If it is established from your wish, then at that time, from my wish, your existence will be established as my non-existence, because of abandoning wisdom. Someone says: Relying on credible teachings, this vow, without establishing the vow, is said to be a vow, such words cannot be obtained, scriptures and wisdom all say so. And sometimes, someone says rational words: Here, everything does not arise from the proximate cause, therefore from the capable cause, the effect is existent, thus it is established. Refutation: Here, your reason is meaningless. If your proposition obtains the characteristic of being established, then my proposition will also be established, and if your proposition obtains the characteristic of being refuted, then my proposition will also be refuted, for example, this fire is two.

Just as there is only one way for fire to burn. Here, for example, what the sound proponents pledge is that sound is eternal. What is the reason? Because it is not corporeal. What is the example? Like space. Why? Just as space itself is not corporeal, so it is eternal, so is sound. Therefore, sound is proven to be eternal, is it? It is said: This is not a pledge, and there is another statement that sound is not eternal. What is the reason? Because it is made. What is the example? Like a pot. Why? Just as a pot is made by earth, sticks, wheels, ropes, and human effort, so sound is produced by the effort of the throat and palate, etc., therefore sound is proven to be impermanent. Therefore, a mere false reason will not achieve the result. Whoever speaks as it is, that is valid cognition, but not from a false reason. Thus, the reason is meaningless. Furthermore, because it contradicts the pledge of what is to be proven, the reason cannot become a proof. Here, when the pledge exists, the reason does not exist. When the reason exists, the pledge does not exist. Therefore, whose is this reason without a pledge? Because it is not a coexisting dharma. When the letter "pra" exists, the letters "ti" and "jnya" do not exist. Likewise, the letters "pa," "ra," and "a," just like the letter "pra," so are the letters. An unborn or dead son cannot do anything, and neither can a reason. Therefore, the result does not depend on the cause, because it is produced from no cause. "From no cause" means that cause and agent are not different. Thus, the result does not come from a cause, nor does it come from no cause. Therefore, it is proven that the result is neither from itself, nor from another, nor from both, nor without a cause, refuting the agent and the eternity of the agent. Now, the refutation of the self is stated, starting with "if," etc. Here, if the self is all-pervasive, then how does one experience the suffering of separation from loved ones?

The so-called "transformation" means: If I become completely universal happiness, there will be no suffering of separation from loved ones. The suffering of one sentient being will cause all sentient beings to suffer, because I am universally present. If I am not multiple, then multiple selves will not be universally present. If this is eternal, then how can it become better when the arrow of desire strikes? Because whatever is eternal has no other state, because it is separate from change. Therefore, when the arrow of desire strikes, how do these ten states of desire change? Therefore, we must realize that I am not impermanent, because I am completely related to change. If I am related to action, then how can I become ignorant when sleeping? Because when awake, I am related to the action of the characteristics of the awakened state. If the word "and" also means eternal, then when the state of sleep comes, how does the state of ignorance, which is separate from action, occur? Therefore, if we definitely and thoroughly analyze, then this self will not be universally present, nor will it be the universal lord, eternal, nor will it be related to action, thus it is established. Now, the sacred teachings spoken by the Buddha Bhagavan, such as "no-self" etc., refer to the fact that phenomena arising from dependence arise from cessation and also from arising. Therefore, cessation phenomena are without self, because there is no mine. Arising phenomena have production, because they again maintain arising. These are established through examples such as Khathon, and should be explained from what will be explained. The so-called "there are good and non-good results" means that arising phenomena have good and non-good results. For cessation phenomena, because there is none, it is completely inferior from the perspective of the author, meaning separate from the author. The collection of cessation phenomena has no goer. What is not omitted is all. There is going for liberation, because it is said "others, others are its nature" etc. There is bondage, but not being bound,
