Those of the rat-like kind, the master's virtues should be taken, but faults should never be taken. What is said is not so, why? Because in order to rely on the guru, the Tathagata said to fully examine the faults and virtues of the guru: Without compassion and easily angered, arrogant and severing the path of desire, a self-praising guru should not be relied upon by a wise disciple. Therefore, even if one has become a guru, doing what should not be done is what a disciple seeking liberation should abandon. Similarly, in the First Buddha it says: If a householder lives in a place of practice, a servant, a farmer, a merchant, and a fool who sells the Dharma, are not Vajradharas on earth, etc. The three types of gurus are spoken of in the complete examination of the guru: Those ten are fully known, of the three, the bhikshu is superior, the intermediate is the shramanera, and the householder is the worst of them. Similarly, a householder who has not attained the ground should not be made a guru by the king, because he has complete knowledge of hearing, whenever he performs actions with signs. A guru who has not attained the ground is, when a householder makes offerings, at that time he will become disrespectful to the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha. Similarly, the consecration of temples, etc., should always be done by those with signs. If there are three in one place, it cannot be done by a householder wearing white clothes. Therefore, in many ways, in the complete examination of the guru, the guru spoken of by the Bhagavan should be relied upon by the disciples, and the determination previously spoken of is for the sake of abandoning those with faults. Similarly, it is also said in terms of virtues: Stable, gentle, and intelligent, patient, upright, and without deceit, knowing the union of mantra and tantra, compassionate and skilled in treatises, those ten are fully known, skilled in drawing mandalas, the guru who expounds the secret mantra, is the master of innate virtue, etc. However, why are the words spoken by other verses not analyzed? The words such as those who have obtained the supreme empowerment are, for the wise, the ultimate truth.

These are the truths and the mundane truths, which should be understood through definitive and conventional meanings. Now, for the time being, let us speak of the definitive meaning. Here, the supreme great seal of the vase empowerment, the secret empowerment, and the wisdom and knowledge empowerment, the Prajñāpāramitā, the unchanging great truth, the ultimate moment of perfect enlightenment, whose characteristics are uninterrupted, is what the Bhagavan attained under the Bodhi tree, which is the attainment of the supreme empowerment. What is for what reason, that is, body, speech, and mind are inseparable, therefore, the Vajra Acharya, that is, the Tathagata Shakyamuni Buddha. In these three realms, for the benefit of sentient beings, whoever's body, speech, and mind are inseparable, and acts like a vajra, that is the Vajra Acharya, the universally departed, the all-knowing one. Among them, there are also the Tathagatas, those who dwell in the ten directions of the world, etc. Here, the seven precious ornaments possessed by the Bodhisattvas in the ten directions, in terms of definitive meaning, are called the world. In those ornaments, the Tathagatas dwell with the nature of the family mudra, those are the ones who dwell in the ten directions of the world. Those Bodhisattvas also come in the three times to prostrate to the Buddha Bhagavan. When they prostrate, the Tathagatas and the skandhas dwelling in the ornaments will also prostrate to the Tathagata, this is the definitive meaning of the Bhagavan. Similarly, after a brief analysis, let us speak of the conventional meaning. Here, like the external environment, there are various things on the body, therefore, in the name of the world, the bodies of the disciples dwelling in the ten directions are spoken of. The lower ones are those who dwell in the houses on the ground, the upper ones are those who dwell in the three-story buildings, etc. The five skandhas dwell in them, called the Tathagatas, thus they are the dwellers of the world. Those disciples also come in three sessions to prostrate to the lama, when they prostrate, the five skandhas also prostrate to the lama.
