Now, the unpierced body, it is not the unpierced body that gives rise to co-emergent bliss here, just as mercury flees when touched by fire, but that same fire with skillful means binds it. Similarly, when touching the dharmodayā, the bodhicitta flees, but if it itself has skillful means, it binds it. Just as fire binds mercury, it turns all iron into gold. Similarly, by binding the bodhicitta with the union of the dharmodayā, it makes the skandhas, dhātus, āyatanas, etc., without obscurations. Therefore, the power of mercury and bodhicitta is not to be examined, for the deluded cannot discriminate. Therefore, for the purpose of making the bodhicitta firm, in the union of karmamudrā, the visualization of the deity is also greatly proclaimed, like the fumigation of mercury and the end of the kalpa, etc., the bodhicitta that enters the lotus like the work of a cow is not what the Tathāgata proclaimed. The Bhagavan, in the fifth chapter of the King of Tantras, with seventy-three verses, proclaimed the accomplishment of karmamudrā, etc., as follows: For the sake of increasing the co-emergent bliss of the Victorious Ones, one should first rely on karmamudrā. Then, the form of the sun, the body, face, feet, crown, all the limbs are complete. Like a lightning bolt, it generates unchanging bliss, the mother with characteristics, the limbs are extremely complete. Illuminating with vajras, the mother, the abode of the three realms, the body, the dharmadhātu then transforms. Again, in the same chapter, with one hundred and thirteen verses, it is said: It is merely the appearance of the mind, arising in one's own mind, like the reflection in a mirror. All the sons of the Victorious Ones and the Buddhas rely on it, the yogi who has power should proclaim it. The flame of wisdom is extremely blazing, it burns all the hosts of demons and their places. Attachment to the body, etc., the yogis give equal bliss through the union of years, therefore, the Bhagavan's determination, even with the absorption of the two faculties, can…

Having completely abandoned the easily changing things born from external senses, until the ultimate attainment of enlightenment, the yogi should meditate on the Great Seal, which is simply the appearance of one's own mind. If the Tathagata does not have aggregates, elements, and sense bases, and is separated from the union of the two faculties, then it will not become wisdom, self-awareness, because there is no change. Since it is said that way, how can the yogi become attached to the appearance of his own mind, make his own mind without obscuration, and also enjoy the great bliss of unchanging wisdom? Because there is no body composed of aggregates of fine particles. This is simply a reversal, like the saying, "A god rides on his own shoulders into the city." Some people may think this way, so it needs to be explained. Here, what the ignorant ones say is that, apart from the aggregates, elements, and sense bases of the nature of the collection of fine particles, the mind alone cannot become wisdom and self-awareness, but that is not the case, because it is due to the power of the sudden habits of the mind. Here, what is called aggregates, elements, and sense bases are the sudden habits of the mind. Due to its kindness, feelings of happiness and suffering arise intensely in the mind, but if analyzed from the ultimate point of view, there is not the slightest harm to this body. Here, the body of the nature of the collection of fine particles collapses completely and exists in the dream state, and there is not the slightest harm to this, which intensely causes suffering in the mind. This is widely known throughout the world, that in that state, the body of the nature of the habits of the mind, separated from the collection of fine particles, intensely appears to go to another place, and if that body that has gone to another place is harmed by thieves and so on, then that harm will intensely cause suffering in the mind, and that suffering will torment him, even without a body and without thieves and so on, the self-awareness of the mind's suffering arises intensely, this is truly amazing. Similarly, in dreams...

Those who closely enjoy great desire bring great happiness to the mind. Without a body and without those who closely enjoy great desire, there is no awareness of happiness in the minds of sentient beings. That very self-awareness is wonderful! Even this trivial awareness cannot be analyzed by the wise. How much less can the ignorant analyze the self-awareness of yogis, which arises from the habits of transcendence beyond cyclic existence and from the habits of peace, the unchanging great bliss wisdom of Samantabhadra? If the tirthikas, with their evil minds, delight in the suchness of the life-breath, saying that during sleep there is inhalation and exhalation in the body, which is of the nature of an aggregation of atoms, and that the three times arise from the power of that inhalation and exhalation, and not from the absence of inhalation and exhalation, then this should be analyzed. Here, if there is no inhalation and exhalation, and the mind has no time for sleep, then how does the mind become very clear for a muhūrta during death and fainting, when there is no inhalation and exhalation? By the command of the King of Death, the messengers of death carry the body, and the city of death becomes very clear. In that city of death, the King of Death also becomes very clear, and that King of Death analyzes the merit and sin of the body that he carries. Having analyzed, he says, "How is it that this one's life has not yet been exhausted?" Therefore, until this body is destroyed, quickly take this sentient being to the human world!" Thus, the messengers of death are commanded, and those messengers of death then abandon the body in the human world. Having abandoned it, by the power of the habits of the mind, it again turns into inhalation and exhalation in that dead body, and then, by the power of other habits, it turns into a time of awakening. Because the mind is very awake at that time, in the assembly of relatives, the Yama's...
