The words "arising from attachment" refer to being completely attached to form, completely attached to sound, completely attached to smell, completely attached to taste, and completely attached to touch, these five. The twenty-five definitive vows of Vajrasattva, the lord of existence, should be upheld by the disciples, and the Vajra Master should bestow them upon the disciples at the time of empowerment. This is the determination of bestowing the vows. Now, the method of entering the mandala is explained by "Glorious Mantra" and so on. Here, immediately after bestowing the vows, the face of the one engaged in all activities should be bound with a yellow or red cloth, and for peaceful activities and so on, with a thin cloth of the color of the deity, reciting "Om dvādaśāṃgani rodha kāriṇe hūṃ phaṭ" (藏文,梵文天城體,梵文羅馬擬音,汉语字面意思:Om, twelve limbs, Nirodha, Karine, Hum, Phat). Then, first covering the eyes, the virtuous friend and others circumambulate the mandala three times. Then, at the eastern gate, the master dwells in the form of the main deity. If the deity of the mandala is standing in a posture such as extending the left, then at that time the master stands and bestows the empowerment upon the disciple. If the deity is seated, then the one seated bestows it. Then, the head of the disciple entrusted by the virtuous friend is sprinkled with water from a conch shell, and reciting the three syllables "Om Āḥ Hūṃ" (藏文,梵文天城體,梵文羅馬擬音,汉语字面意思:Om, Ah, Hum) seven times, one flower is completely bestowed into the lotus-like joined hands of the disciple. With the pure and excellent mind of the flower. Then, from the lotus-like joined hands, onto the victorious vase outside the mandala, according to the determination previously stated, at the same time as throwing the flower, the blindfold is removed. Or, first the flower is thrown, and then it is removed, reciting the mantra "Om di byin tri yā ṇu ṭa ghā ṭa ya svāhā" (藏文,梵文天城體,梵文羅馬擬音,汉语字面意思:Om, Di, Byin, Tri, Ya, Nu, Ta, Ghata, Ya, Svaha). After opening the eyes, in whatever place the beautiful flower, praised with the three syllables, falls, the deity dwelling in that place will transform into a deity of that family. The mudra of that activity will be accomplished, this is the determination. Then, the deity of that family is indicated, and then the seven empowerments such as water and the three kinds, here as they are, the vase and so on, there the activity mudra is offered. The unsurpassed will also be explained.

The so-called "Adhisthana" refers to the blessings of the teacher and the Tathagata. Now, let us begin to explain the ritual of the seven empowerments, starting with "Naga." Here, "Naga" refers to the eight and four victorious kings, as well as the Victorious Vase, etc. The phrase "with vases, etc." refers to the eight vases, with five Victory Vases and five Triumphant Vases on one side; and on the side of the four vases, with three Victory Vases and three Triumphant Vases. The phrase "objects with golden nature, or if not available, with the intention of having precious gems, and possessing medicine and fragrance," etc. Among them, medicine refers to the collection of fragrances mentioned earlier, from which parts such as the eyes are selected.
