Nga. Non-afflicted, great, great fruit, merit-born, cloudless, virtuous increase, immeasurable virtue, small virtue, clear light, immeasurable light, small light, great Brahma, Brahma leading, Brahma class, these are the sixteen forms. Others, such as controlling others' emanations, are the eleven desires. Controlling others' emanations, emanation delight, joyful, non-fighting, thirty-three, and the class of the four great kings, these are the six gods who enjoy desire. They possess the lifespan of six, five, four, three, two, and one small kalpas. Here, the asuras, humans, animals, pretas, and hells included within them are the five existences of desire. Thus, there are thirty-one existences. The mantras of the names of these formless ones, such as the letter A, are in order according to their number. For example, A Ā Aṃ Aḥ is the formless, which is like space. I Ī E Ai is the exhaustion of wind. Ṛ Ṝ Ara Āra is the exhaustion of fire. U Ū O Au is the exhaustion of water. ḷ ḹ Ala Āla is the exhaustion of earth. By the power of morality and the power of samadhi, such as the exhaustion of wind, they transform into the sixteen forms, such as Akanistha. Ha Hā Ya Yā Ra Rā transform into the six enjoyments of desire by the power of giving and the power of mantra recitation. Va Vā are asuras and humans. By the power of giving, they become asuras. By the power of virtuous and non-virtuous actions, they become humans. La Lā are animals and pretas. Small sins lead to animals, and medium sins lead to pretas. The letter Ṣa transforms into hells by great sins. In the first world of nagas, by the power of merit, and in the first hell realm, by the power of sin, is the lifespan of a small kalpa. In the second and third hell realms is the lifespan of an intermediate kalpa. In the fourth and fifth hell realms is the lifespan of a supreme kalpa. In the sixth and seventh hell realms is the lifespan of a great kalpa. In the eighth is the time of the near-gathering of the world realm. Thus, existence...

Thirty-one is the meaning of the three existences. In terms of realms, it is the three realms. The entirety of the three existences are the heavenly realm, the human realm, and the underworld. These also transform into the three vajras of body, speech, and mind, which should be understood from the excellent distinctions of A, etc., and Ka, etc. The measure of a small kalpa is a pit that is one yojana in length and width, which is completely filled with fine hairtips. Every hundred years, one hairtip is removed. When it becomes empty, that time is one day of a small kalpa. That day, with a measure of thirty, is a month. Twelve months are a year. One hundred years is called a kalpa. Likewise, its category is a middle kalpa, and the category of middle kalpas is a great kalpa. Thus, sentient beings, due to the power of their sins, experience suffering in the hells, etc., for many kalpas. The five, due to the power of merit, experience happiness in the heavens, etc., for many kalpas. Now, the names of the abodes of the nagas, etc., are spoken, and there is no dispute about these names. From "Jewel Appearance" to "Gravel Water" is definitely said to be hell, meaning that the place where jewels appear is "Jewel Appearance," which is the world of the asuras and nagas. From there, twenty-five thousand yojanas below, from "Jewel Appearance" to "Gravel Water" is definitely said to be hell, as it is said. The one called "Sand Water" is the second. "Mud Water" is the third, which are the two cold hells. Below that, the unbearable smoke is the fourth. Fire is the fifth, which are the two hot hells. Below that, darkness is the sixth. The great darkness of lamentation is the seventh, which are the two hells of violent wind. The eighth, with vajra flames, is connected by the word "and," which is the place of the vajra needle tip, constantly blazing. All eight great hells are in the underworld. The seven oceans of salt, alcohol, water, milk, yogurt, butter, and honey—the salt is on the outer edge of the world. The alcohol, etc., are on the earth. There are seven mountains: Light Blue Mandara Mountain is Nishadha, Jewel Light Trona Mountain, Cool Mountain Vajra Mountain.
