Because it is said that it is "said." In this way, in the external world, the worldly measure considers the height of Mount Meru to be one hundred thousand yojanas. Similarly, the height of the spine of the body is one cubit, and by the measure of the cubit, the body is four cubits. Mount Meru, with a measure of one hundred thousand yojanas, has four hundred thousand worlds. Another situation is, how can it not change in the body as it is in the external world? Because they are not equal. In this way, however the measure of the world exists in the mundane, it can be changed in that way. Here, the Blessed One did not make a vow by saying "burning, cutting," etc. However, the vow is for the realm of the accumulation of merit and wisdom. Because for the realm of the world, the desire of the treasury and, the thought of the tenets of the Vedas have various kinds, and the realm of Brahma, one place is the extent of hundreds of thousands of yojanas, because of falsely proclaiming, in order to fully ripen the chariot of the sun, etc., in order to destroy the measure of the realm of Brahma, the measure of the world with the rotation of the planets, calculations, and constellations is arranged in detail. Therefore, do not be mistaken by seeing this measure as the Buddhist treasury. How did the Blessed One say that there are more than three hundred and sixty thousand worlds, and how did he say that the world is a measure of four hundred thousand yojanas? If some people think that the Blessed One is a liar here, then wise people should not accept his words, because it is in accordance with the thoughts of sentient beings. Similarly, Sentient beings have various inclinations, Scholars have various tenets, Those who are well-versed in various paths, Those who are arrogant with knowledge. In their own nature and tenets, If the right reason is not shown, Such arrogant beings, Will not be controlled by the all-knowing. Benefiting sentient beings is not true, But is the cause of the accumulation of merit, Harming others is true, And gives hells and so on. Not being a giver, the miserly ghost, Sees the place of the house as a mountain, Those who commit sins, their houses, Appear as mountains like needle points. Underground achievements are attained, The cities of the goddesses all appear.

Said: Accomplished ones see the extremely solid ground as having holes everywhere. Therefore, the extent of the world, as spoken by the Bhagavan, is the manifestation of the habits of sentient beings' own minds. The Tathagata, observing the world with manifest attachment, speaking of the measure of things with the nature of the grasper and the grasped, is completely non-existent. Thus, having completely understood everything, in order to fully ripen the righteous ones, the Bhagavan spoke of the measure of the world and the measure of the body for the sake of the mandala. Here, the saying "from the edge of the wind to the boundary of Mount Sumeru" refers to the fact that below the mandalas of earth, water, and fire, the mandala of wind abides in the realm of space. From the edge of the wind to Mount Sumeru, the seventh and eighth places of hell are the City of Garland Holders, and the City of Garland Holders hell is two hundred thousand yojanas. Here, the mandala of wind transforms into fifty thousand yojanas, and in the fierce storm and great darkness, there are two hells, each twenty-five thousand yojanas above and below, and its breadth is the measure of the earth mandala. Similarly, the fire mandala has two hells, one fire hell, and above it is the unbearable smoke hell. Similarly, the water mandala has two hells, one mud-water hell, in which mud and water are completely mixed, and the other is sand-water hell, in which sand and water are completely mixed, which is very cold. In the earth mandala, there is gravel-water hell, which is twenty-five thousand yojanas. Above it is the City of Garland Holders, which is twenty-five thousand yojanas above and below. It itself has two measures, half is the abode of the Asuras, and half is the world of the Nagas. Similarly, on the body, from the soles of the feet to the waist there are two cubits, and dividing these two cubits into eight parts, each part can be known in order as the hells and the City of Garland Holders. The measure of Mount Sumeru is one hundred thousand yojanas, and from the earth mandala to the measure of Mount Sumeru, there are one hundred thousand yojanas above and below, and on the body, from the waist to below the neck.
