Moreover, the teachings are not of one kind only. Therefore, the Tathāgata did not expound all the tantras in a single divine language, produced by the effort of the throat, palate, and so on, such as "Thus have I heard." Here, first of all, in the manner of the Śrāvakas, the Dharma is taught in the Magadhi language, including the three baskets, as follows: ityapi so bhagavāṃ samyaksam buddho vidyācaraṇasaṃpannaḥ sugato lokavidu anuttaro (梵文天城体:इत्यपि सो भगवां सम्यक्सं बुद्धो विद्याचरणसंपन्नः सुगतो लोकविदु अनुत्तरो,梵文罗马拟音:ityapi so bhagavāṃ samyaksam buddho vidyācaraṇasaṃpannaḥ sugato lokavidu anuttaro,汉语字面意思:如是彼薄伽梵正等觉明行圆满善逝世间解无上士), and so on. Similarly, in the Champaka region north of the Shiti River, the Dharma is taught in various village languages, such as: akara ṣṭu khuṣṇu ka ga ga ṇa ku. jiṇa ma ka bi ji ri ṭa ku. du du ru pa ka, and so on. Similarly, in the Surammi region north of Rukama, the Dharma is taught in various village languages, such as: akama ya sada. bala da da ta ta bi ra ṭa. mi ni ka a ku ṭa ba ra da da. ji gi ti ba ra da ta, and so on. Therefore, since the Tathāgata teaches the three vehicles in the languages of various regions, it is not only in this well-formed Sanskrit language such as "Thus have I heard." Therefore, in the kings of tantras written in Sanskrit by the compilers, in some places the location of "Thus have I heard" and so on is definitely indicated, but in some places it is not. First of all, in many kings of tantras such as the Twenty-five Thousand Chapter Glorious Guhyasamāja and the Sixteen Thousand Chapter Māyājāla, the location of "Thus have I heard" and so on is definitely indicated. In some, it is not, such as the Twelve Thousand Chapter Supreme First Buddha, the Thirty-six Thousand Chapter Yoga Following Awareness, and the Great Commentary on the Abhisamayālaṃkāra; similarly, in many kings of tantras as well. Just as in the root kings of tantras, so too in the condensed tantras extracted from them, in some places "Thus have I heard" and so on is indicated, but in some places it is not. Here, in the Glorious Guhyasamāja, the Bhagavan said:

Also, at one time, the Blessed One dwelt in the vajra-bhagas of the body, speech, and mind of all the Tathagatas, thus declaring the definite place. Similarly, in the Net of Illusion, the definite place of dwelling is indicated by "Thus have I heard," and so forth. Similarly, in the root tantra and the other kings of the condensed tantra, the definite place of dwelling is also indicated. Here, from the Supreme First Buddha, the Blessed One said: "Omniscient wisdom body, Sun body full and inexhaustible, Glorious lotus blooming eyes, Dwelling on the lion throne of the Buddha, With body, speech, mind, and attachment, In the mandala of body, speech, and mind, Lord of body, speech, mind, and attachment, Vajrasattva supreme deity, This indestructible vajra yoga, The unchanging bliss of the wheel of time, The first Buddha without beginning or end, The first Buddha without lineage, The very nature of all-pervading vajra goodness, The discipline of all-pervading variety, The twelve aspects of true meaning, And holds the sixteen aspects of that nature." And so forth, from the Supreme First Buddha, the definite place of dwelling is declared. Similarly, in the Thirty-Six Thousand Verses of Yoga Following Awareness, the Blessed One said: "In the lotus of the vajra dakini, The supreme deity, the only one, With the co-emergent form of joyful appearance, Dwells in the very nature of the three realms." And so forth, from Yoga Following Awareness, the definite place of dwelling is declared. Similarly, in the Hundred Thousand Verses of Manifestation, the Blessed One said: "In the secret of all messengers, Dwells the very nature of all beings, All beings and messengers are of the same nature, Vajrasattva, the great bliss." And so forth, the definite place of dwelling is declared, and this should be understood from the oral instructions of the guru. Similarly, the petitioner in the Glorious Guhyasamaja said: Then, Vajrapani, having been blessed by the Blessed One Vajradhara, prayed thus: "Great king of tantras, supreme of all tantras, Glorious Guhyasamaja of all Buddhas, Manifestation of all Buddhas, please, Blessed One, reveal it."
